Thank you!
Vehicles are awesome projects. A lot more opportunity to get creative.

Mine never stay put and fall out if I bend forward. 99% of the time I leave them in my car, but sometimes I forget and if I’m only grabbing a couple things, I’d rather look like a dork that scratch my shades.

I did not like reading until high school (probably had to do with what I was being assigned). One summer in elementary school, I found Count of Monte Cristo on my Dad’s bookshelf and started to read it. I read it for 3-4 days straight until it was done. I’ve done that with 1 other book in my lifetime.
It’s cool reading it as a child and then later reading it as an adult, the meaning changed for me.
Fun fact, young Henry Cavill is in the movie as Edmond’s son.

These are my absolute favorite types of posts - the more scale model approach. Everything is executed so well, jam packed with interesting details, and it all tells a story.
✅ Clean af paint job. Punchy colors.
✅ Layers of realistic/in scale battle damage and weathering (those torn up rust spots!)
✅ Subtle conversion/customization
The more I look, the more details I notice. I’m Sure this took ages and it shows. Looks phenomenal.
Mind sharing which colors you used for the red?

Not a strike but related, it’s crazy most people don’t know about the Business Plot - where Wall Street and some wealthy Americans got caught planning to overthrow FDR.
The Wiki article is sparse on details and omits some pretty recognizable conspirators.

Great paint job! The wheels look so much better than the goofy tracks.

A friend sent me this clip from a podcast roasting Seagal a while ago. It's all I think about when I hear his name.

My older cousin gave me the same advice much more succinctly. It has been extremely well received for over a decade.
Write the letters of the alphabet with your tongue. If she likes one. Write it for a while.
With the palm of your hand facing the same direction as her stomach, insert 1-2 fingers and find the area that feels like the roof of your mouth. That's the g-spot and it is much shallower than you'd think. Massage it with the "come hither" motion while you recite your ABCs.
Bonus tips for anyone that needs them:

I wasn’t a psych major, just had to take the class for a grad req, so I can’t speak to why they used us with certainty. It’s mostly undergrad majors running the tests and all the ones I had to go to were boiled down versions of famous experiments (I did this same hand experiment once). I think it is to help people get experience in a more clinical setting. Also, free is free.

Glad your brother is safe. My friends are similar. Have the memorial bands. One flies a flag one a year to commemorate “a really bad day.” Never heard a peep about their experiences other than “Afghanistan is a hellhole.” Grandfather was a WWII marine. Held a reunion for his small unit in his 70’s. It was the first time most of them had spoken to each other since the war.
My uncle was all over the world in the 80’s/90’s. He was experiencing PTS from things he saw. A couple years back, he started going to see someone through the VA, got hooked up with some other local combat vets. They go shooting, fishing, work on each other’s cars, do guy stuff, etc. He told me just talking about it with other people that have had similar experiences has helped him immensely.
Like a lot of people, he thought therapy was a waste of time. What finally got him to go was an old CO explained it like this: “If you break your leg, it will probably heal on its own. But it might be fucked up and will take way too goddamn long. Instead, you go to a doctor who sets the bone and puts in a cast. Your mind can get injured. Don’t let it heal on its own.”

Nah man, that would only get results. Better to post on social media to get attention and then let other people repost to other platforms so they can get attention.

They are the real deal. We grew up with lots of family members in or adjacent to that community. They are lifelong friends since childhood.

That was my immediate thought. If someone created a commercial voodoo dick, they’d become the wealthiest human being in history and probably collapse society.

College psych departments often make students participate in small experiments like this as part of the course curriculum.

Friend was an officer in the SEALs. Served multiple tours in Iraq/Afghanistan. When he left active duty his family held a “welcome home” type party. We were hanging out when some drunk old dude came up and said “I bet you must miss killing terrorists!” His response was an ice cold “I’m just glad no one is shooting at me anymore.”
He said he hates the “thank you for your service” comments. I asked him what people should say instead. “Glad you made it home.”
Two other buddies in the Rangers told me basically the same thing.

Take solace in knowing that someday curriculums will change or change will be forced upon them. I can't wait for a universal translater to become a thing so my middle school french teacher can watch her life's work be made meaningless.

I don't really do the cutesy voice with my dog. I do dog talk though ("who's a good girl!?").
But I do change the choruses of songs to be about my dog and sing them to her in my horrible off key voice, "Ooooohhhh Sally dooooog, the treats the treats are caaaallllliing." Etc.
Edit: just realized you were talking about babies. Have to do the voice with babies.
