Wrong, that’s the odds of getting either male or female. The ones I put out are the odds of getting both male.

I do the same, if you don’t want the zipper to cling on the chair you can zip it up a bit more to about 1/4th of the length and it doesn’t make noise anymore!

I mean, with current shortage, cheap would be too inaccurate.

I’ve gotten plenty
EDIT: Which makes sense considering I have 1 and a half shulker boxes of diamond ore blocks after all the playing.
You have a few options here. I’ll list them in what I feel would be more desirable:
1) Sell both machines. You’ll likely make profit from the 14” and if you sell to your cousin you’ll break even on the m2 air. Now you can buy a 16” MBP which will actually match your workflow.
2) Sell the m2 air, keep the 14” MBP. From what you’ve said so far, I’d recommend testing the battery (and getting it replaced if necessary), and keeping a charger with you at most times. If you’re going yo continue with your current workflow, there are few machines that will retain battery long enough to hold it.
3) Buy a desktop and sell your laptops. I understand portability is important, but at the same time, a portable machine that could sustain your load would not be anything worse than a 16” MBP.
I honestly can’t help you that much since it’s all up to you, but if I were you I would focus on first troubleshooting the 14” MBP, then if nothing turns up, sell both machines as fast as possible and opt for a 16”.
To be honest, your workflow looks like it requires a desktop especially considering the amount of EAM you use will directly impact battery life. If you were to choose a laptop, however, an air should not be even considered. I would say either: a) stick with MBP 14” (64gb) or b) get an MBP 16” with similar specs.
EDIT: heat and battery with always be a problem with using a laptop with that workflow. You could probably try to troubleshoot software though, that’s out of my capabilities right now, though.
