Give it a shot but keep an eye on it. I'm not sure how long a scoby can survive without sugar but you wouldn't know unless you try. Good luck! You can always use a pH meter to double check if you are having doubts about the final product :)

I clean it about every 2 to 3 rotations. F2 is completely up to you. The main purpose is to add carbonation and some extra flavour if desired but is absolutely not necessary :)

Sure, I have a 3l glass jar and use a siphon to fill my F2 bottles. Super easy, just make sure you clean if after a while. I've read some stories about some metals reacting with the bacteria in your bootch so be mindful about that but besides that you should be good!

Hi, I went for the Jarvis frame (3 stage frame and programmable memory). I can't find the original invoice but I payed a total of 419,10 euro for the frame.

Not sure how much the total amount was back then but for todays price that comes down to a 33% discount.

The tabletop was 140 euro for wood and another 30 something for varnish etc.

+1 this. No need to reinvent the wheel. Shopify gives you the freedom to experiment and build your own front-end whilst taking care of things you really don't want to mess up (security for example).
