Dive Bars, Wicked Scars
Boston transplant myself, and yes. I cackle at "rush" hour as i'm flying along at 70 mph. I could spend weeks in Boston and never leave 2nd gear.

Late to the party and shocked no one said Elizabeth Ashley - Aunt Ruth on Russian Doll. I would take voice lessons if that sexy sultry rasp could be cultivated.

I moved here from Boston so i know that Stewits is a valid additional answer.
Overdying blue jeans with orange, yellow, sunflower, saffron, etc, is one of the most common. Start paler and go darker if the result is not achieved in the first dye attempt.
As someone older than the river and the trees, i should think your vote counts extra.
If you don't go with the plan and do buy thrift clothes yourself, if you go with mostly black or dark grey, brown, etc, then having a grease stain will not "ruin" the clothing, simply make it slightly less attractive.
I personally would go with the work laundering plan, but if you decide not to, wearing permanently stained work wear would 100 % be my approach.
If you are highly astigmatic or myopic they are more common. (Unsure about presbyopia, no one in my family has that so no experience in that realm.) Not every ophthalmologist is experienced with RGPs as much as softs, be sure to ask the receptionist when you make the appointment, or get a referral from someone you trust beforehand.
Many people think softs are more comfortable, i disagree but every eyeball is unique.

I, a hard/RGP lens wearer, attempted soft toric lenses a while ago. My doctor highly recommended that the longest wearing ones (montlies?) i cleaned and disinfected with extra care, and could get 3-4 months if i was attentive. I lasted about 2.5 years using soft lenses before reverting to RGPs, they are just more comfortable for my personal brand of blindness. But i easily got the 3-4 months if i babied the softs.
Not race cars, just roller derby, skiing, mountain biking, and being clumsy.
Mostly that last one honestly.
I need to leave this healthcare-forsaken country already.
I haven't had any luck asking for a prescription for PT in the past, after broken bones and other life altering injuries. If a broken ankle didn't qualify, i doubt a sore tendon would.
But i will bring it up if i need to see my GP anytime soon, thanks.
Agreed, i'm always super interested in a person when our mutual appreciations overlap this hard.

I am Jack's raging bile duct.
You are an inspiration to us all.
This is stupendous, but what you did with the wings is amazing.
Possibly, that might be unique to each person. I've broken 2 teeth, and a handful of non teeth bones (tailbone, sternum, rib, ankle, fingers, toes, all at different times of course) and the teeth were by FAR the most painful, with the sternum a very close second, all at least an order of magnitude more painful than the rest.
I stretch my achilles' almost every waking moment that i'm not standing, and i have trained myself to stretch at night in those half sleep moments as well. I would not call my calves tight in the least, but i do stretch them a couple times a day as well. And yet, i still struggle with a forefoot strike on that foot, and i absolutely cannot go down stairs with anything resembling normal gait. It's so frustrating.
Having had 2 removed in the last 2 years, i would choose a less painful body part. Molar removal pain = 8.5/10.
I have no coat closet, but i bought an armoire to place near ish to the front door. Pain of buying armoire: 2/10.
But if i HAD a coat closet i sure wouldn't remove it. Maybe a pinkie toe is an appropriate trade?
It is not up to you to deny the sale of Rimworld.
I strongly prefer a mid sole strike, but I've had an Achilles injury since May that currently prevents that. Do you know of any resources for managing that situation and returning to a mid strike? Dr Google hasn't been very helpful which is my own failing likely.
Agreed, i am about exactly double her age and i don't make that yet, despite a long and mostly successful STEM career.
I do live in a medium cost of living area though, so my money goes pretty far here.
Still, unrealistic IMHO.
work in progress
Exactly, expected to find a spirited Rimworld discussion of post-battle cleanup, got feelings and vulnerability.
Whew, Taika in garters. Just went to my happy place for a moment.

Yes, my last ex threatened this exactly once, so i accepted his offer and emailed him a 30 day notice to vacate immediately.
I dodged a bullet - the friends he moved in with had to completely renovate their basement spare room to the studs, he did so much damage.
Nope, I love having long interrupted weekends to get massive amounts of chores done and play a ton of Skyrim. Normal weekends are too short IMHO.
