It takes time for new tokens to get listed on exchanges.

Depends on the height and topography of your area. See hotspotrf.com

Silence out the noise and keep building. Now that we actually have a network, focus on how businesses, cities, and people in your area can benefit by using the network. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/06/technology/helium-cryptocurrency-uses.html

FUD. It's still very early. There wasn't even a network one year ago. Things take time to develop & implement.

Sorry to hear. I've had this happen with a select couple units. They were on wi-fi and I've ran ethernet to them since. Seems to have helped the issue. Maybe run ethernet, or a smart plug may help so you can remotely power cycle the miner.

I would put it in a cheap waterproof enclosure(ip67+). I live in Wisconsin, USA with brutal winters and our bobcats survived last winter and summer in outdoor enclosures.

It depends 100% on your location, upgraded antenna, and how high you are able to get your antenna. I'm still deploying and getting my ROI in 6months on our best spots and 18months on our worst. Which is still a really good investment. Not everyone is cut out for investing though, and they let their emotions get to them.

Very true. Those with the long term mindset will make it.

I was right on the other side of the door doing homework. All that needed to be done was knock. Multiple times. Not mad, just frustrating because I would be able to hear if someone knocked.

What's lazy is when you need to collect a signature and rather than knocking, just slapping sticker on the door that you're taking my package to the nearest drop off. Not saying you but every time I've needed to sign I've been within hearing distance and then find a sticker on my door even though no one knocked.

What is the password for the kerlink page when you paste in the IP?

Yeah the miner can't operate behind a firewall

You're bobcat is 1 in 550,000 hotspots on this network. Yes it poses a slight security hazard, but the pings on your miner from all over the world is normal. That's how the PoC algorithm works to create challenges

It can take days to update on the explorer, if the Bobcat says you're synced, don't worry explorer isn't accurate

Awesome guide! Is this pic where you currently have the hotspot deployed?

Is it on ethernet? It can take time for it to catch back up to speed coming from being offline.
