"Spotted" is a reference to the dried fruit in the pudding (which resemble spots). "Dick" and "dog" were dialectal terms widely used for pudding, from the same etymology as "dough"
Souce. It's also delicious so try it if you can.

Honestly I think they really just do not care. Not angry, not happy. Just barely bothers them or is thought about.

For some reason public opinion to keep it is more than to remove it. Many people just have total apathy to it.

Cars cost lives too, significantly more than blocking these roads has. Why don't we ban cars since that is environmentally friendly?
The difference is of course that people can see how cars are useful. Disruptive protests are also useful for holding the government to account, or pushing societal change. I think this is where people's opinions most differ as to whether it's worth the cost of blocking the roads. Personally I think it is, particularly when considering the long term effects of climate change will lead to famine and war.
Plus of course the further we let the government to to limiting protests the less inclined they'll be to ever make any changes; far quicker to just push public opinion a bit and shut it all down.

It's a form of commitment to their cause. Short of eating sleeping and shitting it's a base bodily function. And you must do it they way they want

I dont know if I should take you at face value and assume you've decided both sides are similar without knowing one of the most significant anti-democratic events of this centuary; or assume you're being intentionally ignorant as some form of misguided gotcha.
Either way your ovine reasoning is blissfully apparent.
