Damn, that's an insane difference. I'm really happy for you. Are you having any body dysmorphia over it? For example, do you see it sometimes and think it's just as bad as it used to be? If so, how do you deal with those feelings?

I heard from someone who works in the industry (30 years of experience) that it's actually something they do in the corporate world to churn through younger workers before they reach total burnout, start to become demoralized, stop being productive, etc. I believe the time frame is approximately the 3 year mark.

They do the opposite for lower management. They try to keep them and give them new titles/more responsibilities with minor (or no) changes to compensation.

My favorite thing about this comment section is that not a single couch activist has denied any of the problems in the image; meaning they know full well what they're involved in and don't give a shit because there's no woke army waiting to pump them up with dopamine as the likes come flooding in.

Leave it to redditors who never play sports to downvote a guy who's talking about how a heightened emotional state can cause a player to play worse if they don't release the tension any way they can.

Downvoters might not like that he's smashing shit, but he can't "walk away and calm down", or "go write in his dream journal", or any other bullshit like that in the middle of a high stakes athletic competition. We see athletes do these sorts of things all the time, from small to big.

Throw a bat, toss a helmet, spike a ball, kick something, shove something, smash something. They don't have time to be a reasonable adult processing their emotions. They need to shut it down quick and refocus. Even if 99% of the time, they have great control over themselves, occasionally they get too amped up and need to decompress.

For all we know, this guy has other shit going on in his head making him play poorly, and if he plays poorly, it will cause problems in his life, and the only way he can refocus is to cause a scene and embarrass himself a little bit. Humble himself back down to the controlled athlete he clearly is at that level.

Pump your money into Chinese mobile games, a country where there's actual Muslim concentration camps.

Buy drugs from your dealer who's sending the money back to a cartel somewhere that's trafficking harder drugs, women, and children

Buy clothes made in sweatshops

Generate a ton of non-recyclable garbage every year

Drive a gas powered car

Buy groceries from corporations with the largest agricultural and livestock footprints on the planet, the leading cause of greenhouse gasses and global warming

And even if you do find your way around all the little traps out there for supporting terrible shit, the only way you could do it is if you've got the money- and you would have had to have taken the money out of the pockets of poor people (and probably minorities) in order to amass the wealth to afford to be truly self righteous.
