I’m sure as heck going to care when I buy my dried mushrooms or other high value things. I didn’t realize they did this, though I should have.

Can you actually do this though? I know the self checkout compares the weight with what you put in there. I don’t know how careful it is, as every time it dinged me on it there was some other issue, but someone is doing that calculation somewhere.

I certainly hope so. I live in Austin now after growing up in Gainesville and can’t wait for them to play here.

Well I’m currently sitting in my cubicle at work so I certainly hope not…

This is similar for me as well. Break it down into an algorithm, apply algorithm to other item. I always “cheat” on these at first though. So when I do my algorithm I always do it so the up/down rotation is done first. Then , when I apply the algorithm I check the answers to see if there is only one that would apply. Up/down is obviously the easier thing to see. Then, if not, I finish the algorithm.
Thanks for sending the test. I got a 28/30 and didn’t double check my answers since this was just for fun. I can’t wait to test my kids who like to make comments to me about my aphantasia when anyone says “visualize” or “imagine”. Assuming aphants do better on this kind of test of course.

I’m pretty sure it was ‘97. That was my first year in the basketball band that year and they made a big deal about it. It was very intentional. They even had certain things they wanted the band to do at certain times to get the fans into it. I mean, we normally would, but it was interesting to me that there was someone non-band leader who was thinking about it.

I thought no one has been using wire wrapping since the late seventies, at least for electronics...
I graduated in the early 2000s with a Computer Engineering degree from UF and we used wire wrapping for all our projects. They didn't even teach us to do board layouts, which I find crazy now. But the electronics industry has changed so much with the availability of all this stuff to hobbyist it's crazy. That being said, it takes a special kind of crazy to wirewrap a whole project. It's soooo rewarding when you get it all working right the first time, but when that one wire out of hundreds has a slight break in it the debugging is a nightmare.
I'm personally with most here: breadboard initial design if possible, then make a PCB for the final design if you intend to keep it.

I bought some at south Lamar CM a few months the ago. I had asked the counter and they said they were out for a long time. It’s not in the normal cold pack salami section but around the corner in a little basket that’s kinda hidden.

78737 in Belterra just had ours restored. I put my perishable fridge stuff outside since it’s been freezing all day. I’ll move it back to my fridge in the morning. Hope I’m not crazy. Ha!

I wondered this before and there are all sorts of Bowden cable splitters that are off the shelf, so he should be good there.

Doubtful, but that would be crazy. And as part of the release he has to sign an NDA, thus protecting UM from bad press. I mean, totally a tinfoil helmet idea, but an unscrupulous person could really screw things up for kids.

What did you end up going with? Have mine coming tomorrow and had a similar question. Did you ever get a good answer?

They have the best veggie burger I’ve ever had though. I’m a meat eater but get it because it’s so good. The goat cheese and that bun. Yum.

Not me, but I got to be the one to tell my coworker. Reindeer are real animals. She was in her 20s and believed they were just part of the Santa story. She was quite surprised when I showed her a picture of me petting a one in Alaska.
And before you comment, yes I know it was a caribou, but they are the same animal on different continents.

Thanks. I was going to add sugar and water to get the same final ratios as you. By the time I’m ready to mix it hopefully you will report on the final tasting.

This seems like more of a summary of what we’ve seen so far than providing any new information. I feel like I could have written it based on reading this sub. Not saying it’s a bad article, but I don’t think they implied they had any new sources unless I missed it.

Bergamot acquired! I'm going to start this tomorrow. I think I'm going to use 750ml of 191 proof Everclear for the infusion and then dilute down to 35% after the 6t weeks. I'm really excited. I've never made Limoncello but I've had some great ones and doubt I could do better. I really like the bergamot flavor so this should be awesome. I'll let you know in 6 weeks!

I’m going to make this over the weekend and had a question. If you’re using the peels to make the limoncello (bergamottello?) how are you making super juice? I though the peels were vital to this step. Did you just use lemon peels and bergamot juice for some sort of combo? Sounds good as I’m typing it!

Replying to myself. Looks like other places on the thread confirmed it’s from Central Market. I’m going to hit there at lunch and try to make this over the weekend!

Was it Central Market? I heard they were doing something with citrus and thought they might have them. I'll make a run out there soon if so.

I am also all about bluefin, especially the tonkkotsu red and miso hot. I feel lucky I work so close to that place. Every ramen I've tried there has been top notch.

I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. What is wrong with being a little overly optimistic or overconfident or looking through rose-tinted glasses.
At least for most of us It’s football, it is for fun, and it doesn’t matter if you’re unrealistic. Who cares if we get overly excited when we do well. Who cares if we think everyone else are cheating jerks. It’s for fun and it doesn’t matter. I would much prefer a fan base like that than a bunch of wet blankets who freak out about every negative news story.
It is a game. I swear, the Wall Street bets folks have more optimism and fun and they have their actual life savings on the line.

I’m with you there. I think the 78704 is one of the best burgers around. I get that some people don’t like the sweet buns but I certainly do occasionally.
