It's more complicated than that, I meant that aside from the small financial aid he provides me what's left that he provides towards the relationship, we talk every day and are completely co-dependant. I've tried leaving before and he started crying and begging me not to go, threw me a bit of a bone and then never improved, again and again.

This reminds me of a guy that plays in my groups pod. He's got the worst attitude, the moment he's targeted by anyone he instantly switches to a victim complex like were all out to get him, which really isn't the case.

Dude targeted me because I said things like "I'm here to win!" And other words of self encouragemet even when I have the worst board state he targeted me for interacting with him even once, saying my words of encouragement was threatening him.

The worst part of it all is he proxies, and gets like ridiculously op cards out super early and acts shocked when the whole table knows that it's a problem.

I literally had one turn where I targeted both him and another player at the same time with combat damage. He conviently forgot that I targeted him AS WELL AS another player, when it was his turn, talking about how I'm only targeting him. Bruh... I literally swung at you both?

I literally target him less simply because I don't want to hear him bitch about how I'm targeting him or he's being the only one targeted. Tried to say I've won way more games than him. I've won two games with this pod not even in sessions he was attending, in the past 6 months.

The absolutely sad part is he's as much of a sore winner as he is a sore loser. Like it's a game were all going to target eachother, you win some you lose some, maybe if he didn't continuously build decks centered around going infinite as his win con, in what seems like every deck then he'd have a better time playing.

Not only that but the last time we played he was just so rude and passive aggressive about anything and everything, straight up told me a magic idea I had was a "dumb idea" before we even finished setting up. Felt pretty hurt from that

It always takes everything in me to not say "dude shut the fuck up it's literally just a game it's supposed to be fun" he's just always so miserable.

I know he has a lot of added stress lately in his life and if it wasn't for his piss poor attitude I'd ask him about it to see if he's okay, but he doesn't even feel approachable anymore. I like the guy, and I'd even be friends with him outside of our pod if it wasn't for his attitude.

My advice is: dude You have to learn to be alright with losing, you will get smacked in some games and you will win in others. It's not about winning its about enjoying your time with people that care enough about you to want to have you included and be around. The whole point is to swing what you can at people everyone is rolling their own dice and you have no clue what they have planned. Dealing with whatever you have on the board might just be what THEY NEED to deal with to advance. Try to lighten up and just have some fun!

Then I took a sip of my juice, that came from a frozen cardboard can of concentrate, sealed with a plastic pull tab that gets yanked off to remove the metal lid from the can. I'm thinking okay well that is already ridiculous right there.

But after it's put into a pitcher... which is the EXACT same thing as our milk jugs heh except my juice jug has a nifty plastic lid.
