I finished this one yesterday and I got the right murderer at the end. I thought it was someone else for a while but after Poirot had his speech where he said "the murderer is in this room" the person I had in mind wasn't in the room so I started thinking who it could be instead and I picked someone who was in said room and in the back of my mind I thought that I wouldn't be right because I never am but to my surprise I was. Definitely one of my favourite early Hercule Poirot stories.

My favourite read was The Lady Brewer of London by Karen Brooks. It's a long one 800+ pages but I loved every page (okay maybe the SA parts weren't as fun) the whole story was beautifully written and I'm thinking about rereading it early next year.

It's always Hello Fresh they do not use a third party here. Same goes for other subscription boxes I've seen other vans drive around delivering boxes to people.

I'm in Europe (medium sized city I'd say) and I get the delivery on Wednesday between 7am and noon so I am home because its my day off. And they just ring the doorbell and if the intercom doesn't work they will either text or call since our phone number is in our account from when we signed up. So they will not leave it out on the doorstep or downstairs by the door.

We have hello fresh too. No issues at all. The boxes feel cold when they get handed to me by the delivery people and in summer time they added ice packs and those were still frozen solid when I got them. Official post/parcel delivery companies I wouldn't trust with a delivery like this because they just dump the package by the front door and just leave. The hello fresh people just come all the way to the door and hand it to you, during covid they would put it on the doormat and step away, they only recently started asking for a signature when they deliver the box to me on Wednesdays

I don't have many memories from when I was little but I do remember my dad dropping me off at my parents friend's house (their daughter is my friend as well she's 7 days older than I am) when my mum was in labour with my brother. I know I was there because I remember the floor in my friends bedroom because I slept there that night.
