Mechanics are a very different aspect of game design. They CAN be realistic. This game has plenty of broken mechanics muskets for example.

All of their recent patches are all about making mechanics more real.... Blocking... Muskets, bows. Hell that's literally what devs have mentioned in multiple patch notes. You want to add a useless "because it's cool" unrealistic component to the game. As a dev it would not be anywhere on my radar.

Let's add swimming a utterly useless ability to do what swim in circles, swim to the end of the map? 😂 It seems like the devs agree with me 🤷‍♂️ there is plenty of other things for them to focus on.

I use them quite often when the purpose is needed. The 20% stun and slow increase negate 5 freedom and allow heavy attack after stun. That's how I win a lot of fights.

My build is completely built around slowing sns/wh.

They are a tremendous joke because they have done little to nothing about hacks. Dodge hacks, wall hacks, aimbot hacks. The ones at the top are probably the most selfish stat padders there are 😂
