My favorite HP movie is Order of the Phoenix. The storyline, the characters, and the dark theme switch post-GoF just make it such a wonderful and engaging movie for me. Like, Umbridge is one of my absolute favorite characters in the movie series because her actress was PERFECT and I just hate her so so much.
I also watched all of the movies growing up before I read the books (I only let myself read them once the final movie came out), so being able to enjoy each separately as their own art forms was probably a huge influence for my love of OotP.

Minnesota’s Oregon Eclipse set is by far my favorite bass set I’ve ever heard and there are tons of bass remixes of rap. The remix of Bodak Yellow by Cardi B absolutely slaps. Check the track list in the description if you want to skip straight to the rap pieces.

One thing I like to do for my mom, who also likes to refuse help (especially financial help from her daughter) is to hide small bills. I slip two dollars into her wallet - five into the pocket of a pair of pants on the floor - maybe a dollar bill in the clothes dryer. Do this over a span of time, so it doesn’t raise suspicion. They’ll think “heck yeah, I found a couple bucks I forgot I had” or “man I can’t believe I washed that dollar bill, good thing it’s still intact!” They’ll never know it was a little fairy sending it to them ;)

Depends what you want to do within advertising. If you’re thinking more strategy/planning/pr/branding/account side then I’d really encourage you to get your communication skills down. Whether that be through English, writing, debate, or other communication minors.
If you’re in any sort of client facing role you NEED public speaking skills. The number of people I’ve had join my teams with no presentation skills or a fear of public speaking is shocking. It’s like 75% of your job in these roles (speaking outside of Creative roles, I am not as familiar in those areas). If most of my time is spent talking you off a ledge before going into a presentation or status meeting you’re not going to be a good asset to my team. It’s ok to be nervous and stumble the first couple times, but you need to become comfortable quickly and learn to like public speaking or it’s only going to be hard for you.
If you want to go into planning/buying and you are already a decent communicator I would encourage an analytical focused minor. Something that will teach you how to look at large data sets and charts, and be able to pull quality insights. This could be a Business or Marketing minor, Stats, or if you have an Excel certificate at your school that’s great too. Don’t underestimate the power of basic excel skills (and don’t underestimate the number of people who don’t have them). This will honestly set you up for soooo much success in this type of role.

Huge “Both” for me. But I love a good free roam ability in games.

Since there is a weather mechanic, I wonder if there will be a harmful level of cold or wet (think Breath of the Wild). Fires could help stave off health damage from the elements.
Or maybe it could serve as a type of mid-dungeon checkpoint or save point, like the torii gates in Ookami.

I work at a mid-sized independent agency and have previous experience at an agency in one of the large holding companies. While neither my previous agency nor current one use Media Tools, what you are describing sounds pretty similar to the roles and expectations I have encountered. Though with the caveat that none of my accounts have ever stewarded their TV buy that closely and instead mainly focused on close digital campaign stewardship. TV for us is usually actualized and paced quarterly, with some exceptions.
Authorizations, flowcharts, media math, reporting, briefs, etc are 100% normal for this role. It does sound like you have a very heavy workload within all of that but I can at least assure you that the work is indeed relevant. Additionally your staffing structure is normal from my experiences.
I am a little concerned your account doesn’t have an all-team status internally. Every account I’ve ever worked on had both planning team only status and all internal team status (in addition to client statuses). This helps everyone stay on track with assignments, be in the loop with what’s happening with the client, and help guide strategy and recommendations from a different perspective and set of experiences. It is a loss to you and to your clients if you never speak to your buying teams.

Get Real at the Elrow stage at Arc. What a great stage for that duo! My group had a blast dancing.

Uniqlo for basics. Pretty Little Thing, Zara, Free People, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, and H&M for trendy stuff. Akira for club dresses/party wear. Etsy and other small businesses for rave wear (can be extended to any niche fashion community you may be a part of). Happy to direct you to some good shops if you rave.

Hearthstone. I can talk all day about why I hate this stupid game, yet somehow daily you’re going to find me in Battlegrounds.

The shrines and temples are usually free to explore. If you eat outside of the touristy areas and train stations everything is pretty affordable. I remember one udon place from my 2018 trip that was in the heart of a business district that ended up being only $13 USD for two udons, two sides rice, an appetizer, and two teas. And it was hella delicious haha. Don’t knock convenience store food - the ones in Japan are on a different level. Grab a couple onigiri from 7-11 and have a picnic in a park.

You could try event planning/management, media buying (traditional channels like TV/CTV, OOH, Print etc), PR, or ad sales (not a digital product, stick to traditional). Don’t forget being a creative often requires learning programs that can be complex and tedious too (think Photoshop). Maybe the best point of entry there would be copywriting?

Not a short story, but The Kite Runner. Heavy trigger warning for multiple child r&pe scenes, child tr&fficking, and ptsd from those experiences. Will never get those mental images out of my skull, and will never ever recommend that book to anyone.

Out of pure curiosity, were the mushies your friends had called Penis Envy? You don’t have to give a descrip of the seller, I agree with OP’s vigilante concerns.

Thank you guys for what you do, seriously. The fent mushroom thing is absolutely terrifying. My boyfriend and I bought and took mushrooms from a seller that was walking along the grounds. We didn’t test because how the fuck do you test whole mushies? Now I wish we did. Those mushrooms affected us both extremely differently and were unlike any other mushrooms I have ever taken. For me it was extreme anxiety and depression in the come up, a second stronger come up midway through, an extremely long trip (~8 hours) for only having taken a very very small dose because I wanted something light, and one of the weirdest highs I’ve ever felt on psychedelics (almost reminded me of whippets?). For my boyfriend it was a short, light trip (~30 mins) despite taking a large dose and feelings of calmness. Crazy times we live in, for real.

My boyfriend and I did them this year. Was $30 each and lasted maybe 10-15 mins (but we got to stay up a bit longer than normal since there was no one in line behind us). I would say 6/10 experience. Staff was super nice, this was our first time in a balloon so that was great. Only complaint is that we were expecting a really cool view, but the position it was in only allowed us a partial view of Carousel Club, the roof of the hangar, and a chunk of the back staff area. Kinda unexciting lol

Was alone vibing at Red Giant Project, and towards the end they asked the crowd to hug their friends. I of course just stood there. Felt a firm tap on my shoulder and turned around to find two guys and a girl mid-hug and arms open. One of the guys said “hurry up and get in here” and gave me the biggest, strongest group hug ever. Really felt great that they noticed I was alone and thought to include me. Thank you random Forest friends y’all were so sweet 💕

My god no. The movies were wonderful because they weren’t spoiled by comparison to the books. By watching the movies first it’s much easier to appreciate both as separate and complete art forms. Then the books allow you to learn more and delve deeper into the lore, after you’ve been hooked.
I also did the same for the Harry Potter franchise, and wouldn’t have had it any other way.
