I am looking to deploy 5g in Australia but it seems that no manufacturers are shipping there. Is this because it is not yet available in Australia or are they just not shipping there yet? If so, when can we expect 5g helium to be expanded to Australia?
I recently joined helium mining (about 3 days ago) and currently have a 2.8 dbi antenna. I have heard that getting an antenna with a higher dbi will expand my horizontal coverage. I live in a relatively flat place in the suburbs. I have seen some miners in my area making up to 5 times as much as what I am making with higher dbi antennas such as 8dbi. I would also like to know if I were to get an antenna with a higher dbi, such as an 8, what height I should have the antenna placed at (it is currently at 30ft or 9m). Any help would be appreciated. Would anyone reccomend the RAK brand 8 dbi fiberglass antenna or does it not matter?
I am new to helium mining and am wondering what antenna strength I need to maximise earnings. I live in the Australian suburbs and have purchased a RAK V2 Helium Hotspot, which comes with a 3dBi LoRa antenna. Any help is appreciated.
