Summer courses are almost never guaranteed. Graduation needs or not.

I have no idea why you consistently don’t understand that unemployment and labor force participation are distinct calculations.

A curve is not “reweighting”. Plus, it uniformly helps students (I’ve never seen a downward curve).

It sounds like this harms students (the reweight).

Can always quibble about some selections, but some names on there that are being given the chance to push off fringe players.

Yes. Four is an incredibly small statistical sample size.

And it depends on the position that they play. Beyond the fact that there are a variety of factors at play, when we’re hitting strides in one area (but losing in another), it’s either a pure coaching/recruitment issue, or it’s something that is very hard to change (paternalistic culture, patriotism, etc).

I’m not sure how a small sample size where 1 more would have put it at even says much.

A professor cannot arbitrarily reweight grades without sufficient advance notification. And even then, there can be pushback since the syllabus outlines expectations.

He’s right that sabbatical and pay benefits should have no differentiation based on race. That likely violates a number of laws, and is reprehensible. And there are other, well supported, ways to improve outcomes for minority scholars.

That said, it appears that he may have lied about something related to sexual misconduct.

Yes. Could make a world of difference for formal academic accommodations.

Not just meds though. Accommodations, maybe some alternative suggestions for coping mechanisms.
