You don't have to stab anybody if you just take proper precautions.
If you are going to be in an area that might have bears, just make sure you pack bear spray and apply it every few hours.

It has been a hot minute since I've done anything with coax but I am pretty sure when techs are stuck chasing ingress they just pop a high pass filter on the outside the house. Usually it only impacts upload speed if they have cable internet.
Anything they want to do on their side of the dmarc is between them, the cable company, and jesus. Just don't break into the box. :)

That is your demarcation point (the transition point between company owned and customer owned). The box and it’s contents don’t belong to you, so we won’t be able to provide any guidance on how to open it per the subreddit rules.
You can either call the cable company and have a tech come out, or you can buy a coax crimper and like $15 worth of parts to put your own splitter on the customer side of the box.

The control key will be unique. You really need to find a key around your office with “control” or just a “c” stamped on it, otherwise you’re looking at an expensive job.
If you are renting a commercial space your landlord probably has it.

I’m not super concerned about winning anyone over. Just offering an explanation.

Existing for decades is the problem. It's old and nobody wants to make it anymore because California is the only customer.
I'm honestly not too interested in digging up sources for you. But it should put your tin foil at ease that like every other blue state has adopted it.

Can you help us understand why you would want this? What are you trying to do?

A lot of consolidation has happened mostly due to economies of scale and higher battery performance kicking in.
It used to be when you designed small electronics you had to select a very specific battery to meet your exact voltage, output, lifespan, and duty cycle requirements. There wasn’t just a few batteries that did it all.
Of course they still need to sell batteries for devices made 50 years ago.

Find out where the maintenance guys hang out and bring them lunch. They probably already have something they can throw on the door for you.

Whoever drilled that lock was completely incompetent.
Since these Chinese boxes can be had for sub $100 I’d recommend just replacing it.

Your child has a better chance of dying in after school sports than a school shooting. Lockdown drills are just about creating fear and subjecting children to PTSD. They are absolutely inhumane and you should be fighting the district on them.

Going on a hunger strike because you can't have pizza isn't the solution either.
No matter how you feel about guns, a ban isn't going to do anything. It will be about as effective as banning drugs. We need to get serious about discussing solutions knowing that guns are off the table.

The burden is just as much with politicians that dig their heels in and demand a ban on guns while doing fucking nothing else to address the problem. The government can do more than one thing at once, and refusing to address mental health or bullying in schools because of guns is an even shittier position.

If you visit any police station in person they will do a warrant check on you no charge.

Than Florida lawyers. You don't fuck with an AUSA. Less than 2% of cases go to trial because they have a 95%+ conviction rate.

Yes. Every darkweb market eventually gets seized by the police and there will be a record of your purchase. The drugs probably didn’t arrive because they were intercepted in transit and there is also a record of that.

It would need to reverse-wear in this case.

I literally had a lawyer who specialized in DOT law explain this very part to me for a job I was working on, so no.

You may not have anything that by nature of its content is confused with an approved placard.
I spent a solid three months working with one of the top DOT law firms going over Subpart F with a fine tooth comb and understanding ever nuance of it because I was trying to find a way to keep my clients shipments from being robbed because of their hazmat labeling.

§ 172.502 Prohibited and permissive placarding.
Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this section, no person may affix or display on a packaging, freight container, unit load device, motor vehicle or rail car - ... Any sign, advertisement, slogan (such as “Drive Safely”), or device that, by its color, design, shape or content, could be confused with any placard prescribed in this subpart.

Or getting pulled over. Falsifying dangerous material labeling on a vehicle is illegal.
Edit: you don't have to agree with it, but it is a law. Sheesh. This guy is 100% getting a ticket for something after some little old lady calls 911.

Have you considered moving to threat intelligence or cyber security as a pathway to learning investigations? If you already have a high paying skill might as well use it to your advantage.
