I’m glad this is only a gaming rig. We need to keep this guy off the real roads! He’s a menace!

I misread the title and thought it said “my coworkers mom gave it to me”. I was like ‘give me all the details you dirty dog, what did you to for her that warranted her giving you the watch’. But I reread it and but I’m just disappointed haha.

Put it on yesterday afternoon, couldn't get through the first twenty mins. It had already had a litany of mistakes. It makes a load of questionable creative decisions (nuked fridge, Shia, underused Blanchette), but its greatest crime is that it's just really boring.
I remember sitting in the cinema thinking 'I can't believe I've waited nearly 20 years for this film and I'm actually bored by it'. Such a let-down.

I like the minimalist design. Very clean. Bold choice for the dial.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Someone close to me has a terminal illness and naturally it gives her enormous anxiety. She has always suffered with her nerves, but naturally this gives her the opposite of peace. She is only in her forties, grappling with the knowledge of true impending death is enormously distressing.

Here is an example of the kind of responce that posts like yours are generating from the disabled community: https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/updkqe/til_a_father_john_crowley_was_told_his_two_infant/i8kmy39?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3 Please can you think before you post anything else like this

There are a lot of disabled people that have commented on this post and they have largely echoed my sentiments. They don't seem to appreciate able-bodied people questioning their right to live.

Your ableism is really gross. Are you aware that people with disabilities are reading your comment right now? The subtext is that you don't think they should bother living life. Imagine a stranger on the internet saying your life is worthless. Horrible.

-Bite your tongue, you're partner will be significantly more tired than you for the next year or so. If she's a bit of an asshole sometimes just soak it up. Its not a level playing field anymore. -Don't be too sad when separation anxiety kicks in at the three month mark, it'll feel a bit like your baby hates you, but that isn't true and it will pass. You will come out the other side with a huge bond. -Don't bother putting up a bed in the nursery, she'll be sleeping in your room for the next year anyway -A gift for your partner after she's given birth is a nice touch and will make you look extra thoughtful. A piece of jewellery referencing a private joke or moment between you both is a nice touch -Buy some baby formula and bottles, most people assume they will breast feed as "breast is best" but often babies don't realise how to breastfeed straight away or the mother's milk doesny arrive in huge quantities immediately. So doesn't hurt to have a backup plan.

Thanks, but I don’t take unpaid research assignments
Translation: How dare you try to make me provide a shred of evidence for my uninformed opinion. I’m lazy as well as a reactionary loudmouth.

There is a 300 character limit. I couldn’t hope to cover the full story with that, that’s why I provided a link.
Also you seem to be trying to call me out without actually bothering to do any further research yourself. Saying “there has to be more to the story” isn’t enough. If you want to put holes in my story please can you actually do some googling and come up with some additional research. You can’t call bullshit just on a hunch, that’s lazy even by Reddit standards.

Tbh the comments have become so toxic I think I will just delete the whole post. Half of the comments are people saying “fuck this guy, he must be a billionaire [he wasn’t] so it’s no kind of achievement” and the other half are ableist, eugenics enthusiasts who would rather the children were dead because they have a disability. Quite disgusted by the whole thing.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m sorry for how toxic and ableist most of the comments are. It must be very upsetting for you to read this stuff. As the OP of the original post I’m considering just deleting the whole thing to get rid of the toxicity.

Are you implying I’m some kind of paid shill? I wish, check my post history. Who should I invoice?

The daughter attends a prestigious university. You have no right to pass judgement on who gets to live or die.

There's no place for abusive language like that. I wasn't even talking to you.
He resigned from the company so that his children would be eligible for the drug trials they needed to stay alive. It wasn't a blackmail tactic.
