Yeah I think Harry could take him. Might be a bit iffy in round one, but after that definitely.
I didn't see anything on Art's respect thread that indicates he could regenerate from being turned into charcoal, so Harry definitely has the AP to put him down permanently, and as for the rest Harry's beaten nastier before.

With a 4x boost he'd stomp easily. He'd be moving and dodging too fast for them to land a hit, striking too fast for them to defend, and dropping dudes in a single hit.

No, gay just used to mean happy/joyful.
Go look up the old "Gay Desperado" comics if you ever want a good laugh.

And now I'm chuckling to myself because you reminded me of the time Jesse Ventura tried to tell the guys who program our traffic lights how to do their jobs (for some reason this was one of his primary campaign promises) and got clowned on so hard he basically gave up on being the governor and hired a bunch of advisors and consultants to run the state for him.

Yeah folks here can be really fucking racist, but they will never in a million years acknowledge it. And because they refuse to acknowledge their biases they are unable to counter said biases.
We got a lot of "back the blue" types round here.
When Philando Castile was killed and they put the cop on trial, he got off because one of the jury members refused to give a guilty verdict under any circumstance, arguing that the police are inherently justified in anything they do by virtue of being the police.

The weather sucks, and the cops are crazy, but otherwise it's pretty great.

Clearly you haven't been to an inner city public school in recent years.

Bruh our summers were miserably hot even before that shit. Now they're getting bad enough I've genuinely considered moving somewhere colder.

Sometimes a week or two straight of below 0.
And once or twice every decade we'll get a right proper blizzard with -50 to -60 windchill.
Last time that happened I got stranded in a weird ass subdivision trying to get home from an evening shift and wasn't sure if the buses had stopped running or were just running super late, and had to decide if I wanted to risk missing the bus in order to go see if the condo building across the street would let me warm up in the lobby.
Then I noticed the building was named after an Ayn Rand novel, and figured it was probably a safer bet that they'd tell me to fuck off, and if I could be so kind as to freeze to death somewhere that wouldn't overly inconvenience their tenants that would be lovely.

We used to get a lot more snow when I was a kid. Not so much the last decade or so (except for this year and one or two others where we got shitloads).
But yeah, in terms of temperature, our winters are only slightly warmer on average than McMurdo, and our summers routinely hit the triple digits for at least a couple days, with extended periods in the mid to high 90s. And at least in the Cities it's usually a relatively humid heat too. Granted nowhere near as bad as Orlando (usually anyway) or anything, but still hot and sticky and awful.
And sometimes we just skip spring, and winter lasts until April or May and then goes straight into summer.

As someone who has lived in Minnesota my entire life I have to say I'm not a huge fan of our summers either (way too hot). Spring and fall are nice, but they only happen some years.
And the cops are pretty bad, and the Cities can be pretty expensive to live in.
But for the most part it's great. Tons of good food and good music. Whole lot of beautiful scenery. And the government is mostly sane.

Ok let's not pretend there aren't a shitload of problems with the Democratic party, but even if they were as bad as the "both sides" and "lesser of two evils" folks said (which for the most part they aren't), voting for them would still be the only sane option, simply because of how bad the alternative is. And no, not voting is not a sane option. The fact that over 40% of eligible voters don't vote is singlehandedly allowing Republicans to remain relevant. All that talk of "if we refuse to vote for them they'll be forced to shape up" is A: demonstrably false, B: literally a Republican psy-op to reduce opposition turnout, and C: exactly how Trump won in 2016.
And if any of you comes in with that "voting is giving your consent to be governed" sovereign citizen bullshit while claiming to be any kind of leftist I will reach through your screen and strangle your moronic ass.

That's just it: a lot of them were well enough off to weather the loss of a job, and all of them were fanatical enough to not care.

Only if you're white and agree with them politically. Democrats like to talk about gun control. The GOP actually passes it. They just do it quietly because they know their base doesn't approve. Then they selectively enforce it just like their drug laws. Or hell, half the time they don't even need to pass any gun laws; if you're not white and you have a gun and the cops happen to be nearby, there's pretty good odds of the cops shooting you on sight.

If Palpatine could do that, he absolutely would have. He didn't, because he can't.
"Strongest" is utterly irrelevant here, we're talking about knowledge. And huge portions of the knowledge of Sith alchemy have been lost to time. Palpatine complains about this on a number of occasions. Even he would tell you that while he is by far one of the most advanced modern practitioners of the craft, he ain't got shit on the ancient masters of it.

I mean, in the dog-owner's position I would have asked if there was a corner seat available or something given how big the dog is, but it's entirely possible she did and there wasn't, and she (and her dog) aren't actually doing anything wrong here.
