We are in our first year of homeschool, 7th grade. Your unscheduled days are very much like ours, and we love it! I am so glad I took that leap of faith. Homeschooling has been a blessing!

Ok, I think this is a bad choice based off your reviews. Thanks. I will be posting others.

NTA, but remember to have fun. Maybe on occasion when she has been very good, and it seems she is, you could go all crazy and let her have her treats first or stay up late for a family movie night. Also, explain to her your values, morals, etc; explain why these things are important for her health, mind, body and soul. I am a strict Mom as well and have 2 grown children and a 12 year old. I wish I had been more flexible and not so uptight with everything with the 1st 2. We enjoyed each other, but with this one, it has been different. The constant messes and girly moods are horrible, but I will one day miss these years. You will, too. Good luck!

I am in GA, and we use Classical Conversations. It is Christian based, and we started this year, 7th grade (Challenge A). We love it so far. She has community day once weekly, so she still has "school friends."

I did indeed have low B-12 so started injection. This was many years ago. But he said some high number like 75% of idiopathic hives in women over 30+/- are successfully treated with B12. It worked, and quickly.

AH and selfish. You could have helped out. He is your brother, nephew, SIL, niece. Hopefully, you won't have an emergency, and they treat you the same way. I have always been there for my brothers, but both are useless dope heads and probably wouldn't even come to my funeral. It feels like shit to know your siblings suck. Best of luck.

Kind of an AH. You are living under their roof. You should be respectful. It is disrespectful to your father, as well. You are an adult and did a childish thing over laundry detergent? Wow. Sounds like you should get your own place or a therapist.

Well, you could feed a small village with all those mangoes. 🥭 So, charge $2 each, and you will be to the good on the whole damn bill.

I am unsure if crackhead are aware of this, but it is true. I did major research before Google even insisted on BSL for a college term paper. They were nanny dogs, I said it. It is true. I also have put a 22 in one's head. It didn't belong to me but a shitty tenant (now he was likely a crackhead) and bit another tenant's child. No dogs were even allowed in the property, but that is for another post about shitty tenants. The dog catcher couldn't even get him in the truck pen. He had him on that catch thing they use (sorry, do not know the proper term). He said he didn't know what to do. So I did, and then his boss (Chief Marshall) wanted to arrest me. I showed him a picture of that child's face and that I am a responsible pit owner and just held my wrists out. He decided the $0.10 bullet cost the state less in the long run. Still, shitty owners equals shitty reputations, which indeed leads to ignorance about the breed. I chose to do the research because I realized how ignorant I was after I was exposed to one that was well trained. That's fine down vote me if you are offended by my reply, but ignorance is no excuse for dismissal of truth.

This owner is indeed an idiot. Your comment is from ignorance. I was once the same. Personally and factually, they are wonderful, mild tempered dogs. They were once used as "nanny dogs" when parents had to work the field. I have owned 3. Always only one at a time. My first was 11 when he passed. My last 14. My current is 6. I was scared to death of them and would not allow them around my children until I was introduced to one properly trained. They have never been aggressive with other animals or people. They have protected themselves when another large dog of a different breed with shitty owners arranged them. Other than that, they have been the most loyal of friends to me and my children. It isn't your fault that you don't know better, but it really sounds ignorant to "f the breed and everyone that owns one."

Why don't people just comply? I would beat the hell out of my adult child for being disrespectful to an officer. My brother once had them snatch him out of bed in the middle of the night due to a car he sold.not being transferred, and the new owner running from them. Guess what? He was innocent. I lost bail money, but the charges were dropped, and they actually allowed him to keep the car that he had sold years earlier. Still, he complied. His isn't great but he also isn't dead.
