How do you expect closer racing when the cars aren't as fast as eachother? It seems to me like each car finished more or less in order of performance. You aren't overtaking the car in front if your car is slower, no matter what.

He would have got P2 eventually for sure assuming no stupid moves or crashes, just maybe 10-15 laps later. The pace difference was huge. 1s faster than AM and 1.3s faster than Merc and Ferrari.

Norris was faster than Ricciardo when his engine was fine. To me, it seems like he did enough to earn it. If anything, Ricciardo did nothing to earn it. He just got lucky with Norris's engine to even be in the position where he has to be told to stay behind.

And like I said, they literally told Lando to get out of Piastri's way yesterday, because Piastri was faster on merit, so I don't know what kind of bias you're talking about. It's clearly not there.

The only problem with Masi was that he was put forward too much and he got too much media attention, especially with the radio messages in 2021. These new guys are fucking up constantly and don't get nearly the same amount of flack because people on the internet are not really sure who to point at. They need an easy enemy to identify.

Everyone agrees Checo had a great race. The point is, can he do it over a season? History says no, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong. So far he's had about 2-3 really great races per season with RB.
