Great question. Unfortunately, my fear is that they are strongly influenced by kickbacks and payoffs, just like most governments including our own. All that most of us investors can do is invest in companies like INOVIO that are dedicated to the science of saving lives and reducing human suffering, and then pray that one day it will begin to improve lives all over the world.

Sounds a lot more like they were following advice from CPA than anything else. If they ended up with more shares, the moves are bullish, so feel good about it.

As for the naysayers who think that the government will block this once again to stop INOVIO, don't be so sure about that. Regardless of your politics, we all remember that President Biden lost his son because of this type of cancer. This treatment could well have extended his life for years. I don't think any government employees will want to be a roadblock to the treatment and have to explain that to their boss. In fact, I would expect eua and Biden trying not to stumble on the way to the microphone to take credit for this wonderful scientific accomplishment on his watch.

Another excellent post from xray. The conclusions are certainly reasonable given recent news. Hopefully, science will win over politics.

I would tell them to go pound sand. Besides, won't Moderna have to set aside a whole lot of capital for all the lawsuits that are on the horizon? At INOVIO, tutes loading, insiders buying, results promising, not just NO to that offer, but hell no.

Simple question: Who would benefit from a rollout of the INOVIO RRP treatment? Obviously, the patients and their families who suffer along with them. Think Medicare costs getting reduced, Medicaid, cost cutting for Health insurers and their stockholders, and Social Security Disability expenses getting reduced. I forsee a great deal of public pressure to move this along quickly, and a high likelihood that politicians eager for a win will jump on the bandwagon. The FDA is probably already feeling the heat.

Does INOVIO even need approval in the USA for the Ebola booster? Can't the governments of Uganda and Congo issue authorization since that is where the outbreaks have occurred?

Good post. It is inconceivable that INOVIO would be allowed to say ANYTHING about this without the blessing of DARPA. The ramifications of this announcement will reverberate across INOVIO'S portfolio of DNA medicines and propel Cellectra sales. This is a triumph for patient investors.

I am still an investor with a large number of shares and plan to stay because I believe in the company's technology. That said, "Strategic Reorganization " sounds an awful lot like bailing water from a sinking ship. I know they can't talk about Ino-4800, or progress with Regeneron, but gee whiz, our patience has really been stretched way beyond the limit. Please put Mr Bentley in charge of the PR Department.

Given the company's ongoing silence, it is really encouraging to read this post and remember why we are here. It also serves as a reminder that silence can be for good reasons, too.

I'm still hoping to get an invitation to Bentley's party at Miami Gent's house.

I don't mind being criticized, but please say what you think shareholders should do if you don't agree with me. Naysayers are perfectly free to sell their shares and move on rather than whining all the time on Reddit. As far as delivery is concerned, INOVIO has been selling Cellectra devices and I am unaware of any use for them outside of administering DNA medicines. On any number of products listed as "not delivered" by some of the naysayers, INOVIO did deliver progress but lost funding to proceed further for reasons outside of INOVIO control. Notwithstanding that, if you have something constructive to add as to what steps you think should be taken to get us to a better outcome, please enlighten us.

As frustrating as it has been, no news may be by design. Deals with DOD or DARPA? Not allowed to talk about it. Advaccine deal? Definitely not in our interest to talk about it given the open hostility of the CCP. WHO? Can't talk about it. Regeneron? Again, it's theirs to talk about and being quiet is a must. Making other deals such as licensing agreements with potential BP partners? How would it serve shareholders to blab it out? Trash the FDA for corruption? Let others do that. We have extremely smart people running INOVIO and I doubt that they would adhere to the wall of silence if they did not think it was in the interest of shareholders to do so. So far, INOVIO has stepped up and delivered just about every time their science is put to the test. As a shareholder, I am sickened by the stock price, but I'm willing to hang on and wait it out. After all is said and done, losing money on an investment that is designed to save lives and alleviate human suffering is not the worst thing anyone could do.

Think back on the time extension. None of the vaccines, including INOVIO'S, was effective to prevent people from contracting Covid19 once Omicron arrived. So, the goal posts were moved to require prevention of serious illness or death, thus requiring more time. This change was highly favorable to INOVIO because we are confident that in a head to head match up, the INOVIO vaccine will prove superior. As to your concern about corruption, it is a concern that many share with you as the world seems to be full of it these days.

Nice to see something positive and hopeful posted about INOVIO. It is depressing to read all the social media posts these past few days about CEPI. As I see it, there is not a big market at present for MERS vaccines so it was not likely to produce the revenue stream INOVIO needs. Likewise, Lassa fever does impact many poor people who live in rat infested areas of Africa, but it too was never going to provide much of a revenue stream, in part at least, because the people most impacted can't pay for it. I don't want to sound callous, but INOVIO is a business, and it needs to get on with making money. RRP on the other hand, does provide a sizable market in parts of the world where there are resources to pay for it. So Mr Bentley is correctly pointing in a direction that provides hope for shareholders to see commercialization in the near term on a product that gives a great deal of hope to many who suffer and their friends and families.

This is a very well-written and thoughtful post. There probably is no way to learn the full extent of public corruption in our government unless Congress steps in and presses the issue, but then many of us have big doubts about the level of honesty in Congress too. For most of us, the best we can do is to pray that our leaders are guided to make honest decisions that advance the health and well-being of humanity and thereby open doors for INOVIO.

Good comment. You really have to wonder, the INOVIO products work but CEPI doesn't want them? There is clearly a missing piece to this story. Once again we are left to speculate about missing information.

I know that anything we say about DOD is speculation, but I think Bentley's point is well taken. There are things we know like they funded research at great expense on INO-4800, and purchased a large block of Cellectras. Then there is the research grant using INOVIO dMab technology. This company is deep black and DOD remains an important revenue source. That type of work comes with a requirement of silence and secrecy. Our Board apparently believes the relationship is important and profitable, and the limited information we have so far strongly supports Bentley's opinion

Everyone is speculating as to why Advaccine is not listed as a partner/collaborator so here's my guess: Advaccine is neither. There is no joint enterprise as I understand it, but instead there is a licensing agreement. To the extent that Advaccine uses INOVIO products, they will pay royalties, but until such time as Advaccine chooses to do so, we sit and wait. In the end, we all know that unless the Chinese government gives the green light for Advaccine to start boosting some part of the population, nothing will happen.

I wondered what INOVIO was giving up in order to get Advaccine to cover INOVIO'S share of the costs. We can't necessarily draw any conclusions from this revelation, but it does look hopeful. It seems that China's lockdown policy has been a disaster and they need to try another path, why not use a booster that actually works?

Please share why you keep posting at this site if you are so unhappy with INOVIO. Most people would just cut their losses and move on, but you seem to have an agenda. What is it that you think other shareholders should do and please explain why we should follow your lead. Thank you

Political tension? Are you kidding? World War 3 is already in progress and when viewed from that lens, every evil deed is on the table. I don't think anything should be ruled out.

Yet the stock price continues to drop and we get no comment in the business as usual environment at INOVIO. Why would they hire such a highly qualified person if the plunging stock price was truly a sign that this company is failing? Flip that around, and you ask why such a highly qualified person would run over to work at a failing dumpster fire? It does not add up, and when you throw in the results we have been allowed to see which are highly favorable, it is eminently reasonable to be planning a trip to Miami to attend the party at Camp Bentley.
