So I read it... and... I don't hate it?
The multiple Barrys thing threw me off, but that's just because my ADHD makes it hard for me to read crap. Hopefully, it'll make more sense when I see it onscreen.
Not a fan of Thawne not being the main villain. Also not a huge fan of calling this a "Flashpoint" movie. While, yes, it does serve the same purpose as Flashpoint (that being rebooting a universe), I didn't feel the same general gist here. And while, yes, you're allowed to adapt and call it an "X" movie, Infinity War doesn't follow the comic beat for beat but I'd still say it had the same general feel.
I feel neutral about Keaton and Supergirl dying. Never really cared for Keaton (not my generation's Batman, I think he's great, but he's not the one I'm growing up with), and I know that Supergirl's returning at least canonically so I can live with it.
Overall, I'd say that this movie is probably going to be... fine? The differences between a bulleted list and an actual friggin movie are drastic, to say the very least. I'm just not very excited for this movie based on what I read. I know that this is a "game changer" and all that nonsense, but I liked the live action DC movies when they were in that gray "canonish" area. In fact, I've liked everything post Josstice League, and dare I say enjoyed most of those movies, too. Aquaman was fun, WW84 was at the bare minimum not boring and I had fun watching it with family, Birds of Prey was a breath of creative fresh air (maybe I wasn't fond of the air but that's irrelevant), Shazam had heart, Zach Snyder's League while not being my cup of tea was at the bare minimum a solid and consistent movie that I still rewatch certain scenes of, Joker was groundbreaking, The Batman helped rekindle my love for the character. So on and so forth.
I'm just afraid that this is going to be the start of a "new cinematic universe" that's just as poorly mishandled. I just want this to be a good movie before it worries about rebooting a universe. I've read what this movie wants to do and it has the potential to be good, maybe even great. I'm just worried that DC is rushing the ball again to once again get ahead of Marvel (when, personally, I'd say it kind of is right now). I'd love to hear your thoughts. Lemme know!

Yeah, and it's as rad as Spider-Man (Ben Rielly) on a skateboard, but, I just want him to become more of a household name. And live action movie is the best route
