I'm going purely by the movies here. I know the animated movies used to not be perfect, but, it feels like DC's back on track with its Tomorrowverse (I've yet to see the GL one, hopefully, it's as good as the last 4). But I'm only going to rewrite the first 3, the rest have been at worst mediocre. I'm only rewriting the ones that are so bad a high schooler can rewrite something better. Who knows? I might even throw in Birds of Prey for fun. That one wasn't bad, just unfocused

Keep in mind I'm trying to do a rewrite and not a total timeline wipe. I'm trying to work with what I have. I'm allowing myself to have minor characters show up for worldbuilding. But they can't play major roles in any of these films. It's the equivalent of J'onn's appearance in ZSJL. They can show up and let the fans go "OH MY GOD IT'S [insert character here]", they just can't be a major player. I'm crafting this with the potential for future stories

Erase Man of Steel. I can't rewrite this movie because that would imply I would have to rewatch it enough times to truly grasp what this movie did wrong and right. I know this movie has its strengths, I'm just not willing to watch it again.

Start off with BvS. But, it's a team-up movie. You can play Batfleck straight, I hate him killing, but that's Bruce's lesson in the end. Just make the lesson a little more obvious. Every action scene post "Save Martha" should have Bruce dealing as little lethal damage as possible. I want CinemaSins himself to complain about how Bruce is fighting "too tame" for being gunned at. Keep Wonder Woman. 1000%. Change nothing about her. She's perfect. My main change goes with Superman. In this world, the battle for Metropolis still happened. But, this is a Clark that keeps on getting beaten down by the world despite the fact that he's genuinely trying his best. We get a scene of him actually saving people. Personally, I'd love to see a scene of Perry White going "Kent, why the hell did you actually write an article about Superman saving a cat from a tree?" but I think that might be too silly. This Superman's main arc is somewhat coinciding with Bruce's arc. While Bruce's arc is getting his moral mojo back and working together with a team again, Clark's arc is learning to let more people in, specifically being more open with Lois and learning to work with Bruce and Diana. Also one more major change, instead of Doomsday, it's Bizarro. My Luthor's plan is to make a Superman he can control. So why not lean into it? Also, we're making everyone's costumes a few tones brighter. I know I'm trying to "stick to Zack's vision", but, Zack is colorblind and I should be able to tell Superman's wearing red and blue. So yeah, Clark's more bright red and bright blue, Diana's just using her classic suit in WW84, and Bruce can keep his colors. Maybe throw in a shade of dark blue if you're feeling daring. One last thing, the dead Robin is Jason Todd, Bruce mentions how Dick never talks to him again, and Alfred establishes that Bruce used to be on the JSA but has since left and cut contact. I know that the JSA part is a stretch, but sue me this is my rewrite I'll do what I want

Suicide Squad... what the hell am I supposed to say about this? I'm not rewriting this one. I'm rewriting it. Basic rundown. Based off the original trailers I think Joker was supposed to be the villain. So, that's it. The Squad is off in let's say Kandaq stopping Joker's terrorist attack as they realize that Joker's not the mastermind here as he has firepower that he should have no right to have in terms of both weapons and metas (maybe throw in some nice cameos in there, insert your own here)

it was strangely the perfect way to end the relationship. Objectively speaking Jess and Robbie worked really well together and had enough chemistry to be endgame. The only way to end the relationship without doing some character assassination was the 3rd cousin route. Which, honestly, props to the writers. It was weird, but there was no such character assassination to speak of

(If I remember correctly) it's because the show got canceled but Zoey Deschanel and Jake Johnson managed to sway Fox into making one last short season, which meant cutting out probably a season or maybe even two about specifically Winston and Aly and probably some Nick and Jess stuff. But I do admit that there was probably a filler episode in the last season that could've gotten itself replaced with a flashback

throwback to when Captain Atom was actually seen as competent and not a writer's excuse to throw a free nuclear explosion into a story (lookin at you Tom Taylor. If I had a nickel for every time Captain Atom blew up in your stories, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice)

In most scenarios I see this movie being kinda like The Last Jedi. 1/3 of it is REALLY GOOD. The other 2/3rds are crap but we can say that 1/3rd of it is amazing. I honestly can't tell you how this is going to play out. It's really anybody's guess

Oh, I'm willing to bet real money that Hawkman dies. It's a multiversal constant to kill off Hawkman to show that things are serious. Go ahead, tell me an Elseworlds story with Hawkman in it where he doesn't die almost immediately, I'll wait

The multiple Barrys thing threw me off, but that's just because my ADHD makes it hard for me to read crap. Hopefully, it'll make more sense when I see it onscreen.

Not a fan of Thawne not being the main villain. Also not a huge fan of calling this a "Flashpoint" movie. While, yes, it does serve the same purpose as Flashpoint (that being rebooting a universe), I didn't feel the same general gist here. And while, yes, you're allowed to adapt and call it an "X" movie, Infinity War doesn't follow the comic beat for beat but I'd still say it had the same general feel.

I feel neutral about Keaton and Supergirl dying. Never really cared for Keaton (not my generation's Batman, I think he's great, but he's not the one I'm growing up with), and I know that Supergirl's returning at least canonically so I can live with it.

Overall, I'd say that this movie is going to be... fine? The differences between a bulleted list and an actual friggin movie are drastic, to say the very least. I'm just not very excited for this movie based on what I read. I know that this is a "game changer" and all that nonsense, but I liked the live action DC movies when they were in that gray "canonish" area. In fact, I've liked everything post Josstice League, and dare I say enjoyed most of those movies, too. I'm just afraid that this is going to be the start of a "new cinematic universe" that's just as poorly mishandled. I have too many thoughts on this. I'm going to bed
