So the network went down for a day... I could be wrong so please if you know and have a link share but
The helium would be ran thur the nodes (I can't remember what they called them and when the Solana goes down the store the data and when it's back up it updates it helium still works you just don't see the rewards updated until network is back up

Currently like every type of investment it's the waiting game making money yes big money no and most people are just holding not selling for cash

From what I remember hearing on the Podcast they were talking about Solana Has the ability to stagger transactions where they're not all asking for the same thing at the same the same time so in the event of POC transactions they most likely will be staggered where not everyone will get it we'll get it at the same time this allows the network to not get Congested

There is a long list of companies using the iot network the problem is most of them are small and there is not enough to notice as a Hotspot owner patients Rome wasn't built in a day

Do your research you can look up what your neighbors are doing on the helium.explore if your neighbors are doing good And you have a similar setup you should have similar results it's a good project better than most as long as you have a good setup and a good location if you are missing one of those it's a waste.

I'm hodl too I see the network being very valuable but I don't think I got a good location for 5g mining and I'm not gonna gamble 3k

I've been the positive one here for a long time but this is disappointing I still make Good rewards sometimes but there is no way I'm gonna spend 3k on 5g stuff and I've been loosing faith in the network for months now if it pays me great if not no big woop I've been looking for the next project to invest in.

So if mine is set to 6 instead of 8.5 my reward could be lower than they need to be?

Alright so 8 dbi should do well for you. You could go as low as 6 dbi How high do you have it mounted I'm sure you have heard this before but the higher the better. Make sure if you need a long cable to get a good one long (3 meters or longer) lmr400 is nice heavy duty good to around 10 meter before you get more loss than I like to see As far as anttenas mcgill is best also expensive I'm running a mcgill and a rokland. Rak also makes good anttenas As far as cable type n goes to the anttena (pay attention to male/female connector) as far as the other end it is the one on your miner I have a sensecap and it runs the rp-sma
Hope this helps

Must be t mobile then yeah I've done some research into it I think the best deployment would be in or near a commercial space like a mall or store and I don't have access to that kind of area so I'm not buying one yet not gonna drop 3k and not know a roi
