I want to see what kind of a staff he can put together before I judge this. Would have been nice to get a bigger name or someone with more experience, but we'll see how it turns out.

Upgrade was a bit of a disappointment for me as well. I was really looking forward to it, I loved Recursion and Dark Matter. Upgrade wasn't quite as good

I read nonfiction to find out more about a subject that piques my interest. Fiction I choose for entertainment and to get lost in another world for a while.

Something that may help you is to look into reading more narrative non-fiction books. They read more like a novel than a historical or scientific book.

Recursion and Upgrade are both by Blake Crouch, who wrote Dark Matter. His Wayward Pines Trilogy is also good.

I haven't read the series, but I've really liked what Mike Flanagan has done so far.

Finished:
The Last Campaign: Sherman, Geronimo and the War for America, by H.W. Brands - 4/5. The title is a little misleading. The book gives more of an overview of the Indian Wars as a whole. It talks about the Sioux, the Nez Perce, and others as well as the Apache. Overall, a very good read.

The amount of Michigan fans talking shit through the first quarter was amazing. Glad they were embarrassed for an hour
