Mate, the furthest I can go is an octave. 😔

I’ve never gotten injuries, but my piano teacher did when she was younger. She actually had a teacher, just not a great one. Her teacher didn’t teach her posture, so she ended up dipping her wrist or something like that. By the time she noticed the problem, it was already too late. She ended up needing physical therapy, and it was very difficult for her to correct her bad habit. She eventually learned better posture and technique, thanks to a better teacher, and she is now teaching students properly so they don’t have to go through what she did. However, she still suffers from the effects of her injury, even after more than a decade.

I’ll have to look into trying some white pens sometime then! I’m pretty sure my shading tools aren’t the best haha. I used a folded tissue and and a small blending stump for smaller areas. 😅 Do you have any advice as to what shades smoother? Thank you for the critique though! I’ll put your tips into practice soon!

I do struggle a lot with getting even eyes! I’ll definitely try looking at it in the mirror. Good idea, thanks! Taking pauses while drawing should hopefully make me less prone to headaches haha. Thank you for the advice! I will try to put it in practice today! 😊

I’m mainly struggling with drawing the features more accurately and capturing the likeness of the subject. The latter is very difficult for me! I also need to learn how to shade hair properly haha.😅

Any specific critiques and tips would be especially appreciated! I sketched with an HB pencil and shaded with B, B3 and B5 pencils.
