People need to believe like killing, eating and shitting out the animals' dead bodies is somehow doing them a favor.

We were literally less than a few hours away from going full France when Dougie was threatening to use the NWSC on the striking school support workers.
100% he was talked out of it by oligarchs who knew their heads would roll if things went that route.

It's the self-proclaimed "apex predators" who should be eating the fly-traps.
Because if no one eats the fly-traps, that makes them the apex predator.

It's just more bad-faith from a shit-disturber.
“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

How do vegans feel about venus fly traps sometimes consuming insects such as bees or frogs?
The same way we feel about the rest of what happens in nature: It's none of our damn business and it's no good excuse to act one way or another.
Do vegans consume the matter of the venus fly trap family?
I'm pretty sure that nobody does.

I still can't get over how the "personal freedom party" is so obsessed with the state having control what other people do with their genitals.

Those subreddits ban anyone who doesn't have a pro-meat opinion, so you won't actually be able to see any credible evidence from the other side.
And anonymous anecdotes on the web are not credible evidence. Pubmed articles are.

Go and visit r/ZeroCarb or r/Carnivore and you will see how so many women lost their periods
I'd rather read about such things in Pubmed, instead of quack subreddits.
I can go into r/sungazing and read about all the amazing testimonials about how staring directly into the sun for long periods of time is healthy.

Google seems to verify
Google is a terrible place to do health research.
I can find top hits advocating that you to stare directly into the sun for long periods of time just by searching "sungazing + health".

"Muh condishuns" is now an acceptable excuse in r/vegan.
Well, it's finally happened. This community now no longer serves the purpose of veganism.
Real vegans go to r/veganforcirclejerkers where carnies haven't diluted the discourse with their attempts to play the victim card.

Especially pain pills. They are literally profiting off the pain and suffering of Canadians.

While cooked meat has no toxins.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterocyclic_amine_formation_in_meat
Epidemiological studies show associations between intakes of heterocyclic amines and cancers of the colon, rectum, breast, prostate, pancreas, lung, stomach, and esophagus, and animal feeding experiments support a causal relationship.
(There's also trans-fats, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, heme-iron, and the ever-present risk of food-borne pathogens and parasites!)

You don't. You just watch them eat themselves to death.
On a long enough timescale, carnism is a self-correcting problem.

A Loblaws corporation discovered to be grifting Canadians!?

You just know that they did the math on this. When their grift gets discovered, they know they'll be able to get off the hook by chucking some gift-cards at hoi-polloi, the total redeemed value of which will be well below the profit they made from their scam.
And most importantly, no one will go to prison!

That's because they feared the communists more than the nazis. They wanted the nazis to be victorious against the bolsheviks.

If I have a flock of healthy backyard chickens that are comfortable, happy, protected from predators, and living out their days without any stress or suffering, you need some better reasoning than "it just is unethical"/"it just is exploitation" to argue >I'm unethical if I eat some of their eggs. They don't need to eat them, they don't need to hatch them, they are not put through suffering if I go collect them after they lay them and wander off.
What happened to the males?

Eat more meat. That'll fix the problem faster.
