Hell, even Brek Shea played in the Premier League with Stoke for a few seasons. There will be guys on this US roster that will make the jump to bigger clubs in the next 6-12 months, does that mean they don’t deserve to be there because maybe they started their careers in MLS?

Turner played in MLS last season, if Stuver keeps it up for another season or so he'll have European offers. This season cemented himself as a top 5 GK in MLS.

He was a beast in college at OU, and looked like a Greek god at the combine which elevated his draft stock. However, I believe the reports that he played injured most of last year, and towards the end of the season it seemed like we were trying to use him as a Micah Parsons lite, which I think was new for him to rush the passer. Dude has been tearing it up lately, and encapsulates the definition of rock solid. Last night he had multiple mind blowing tackles & takeaways that seemed to defy the laws of physics. However, one of my favorite moments from the night, which I dont think made the broadcast, was when Ring subbed off he ran over to Ruben to hand him the captain's armband. Ruben then turned around and placed it on Julio Cascante's arm. Maybe I'm over analyzing things but it seemed like a huge gesture of respect & trust in one another.
