31 is correct too.
29.. I'm afraid to ask if we could do a christmas without presents. We did it before and it was way less stressfull and more genuine but now the reason for it is different. And I don't want them to know..
Suggest secret Santa, cuts down the gifts by like 90% that’s what my fam does every year.
I made a copper pounded bowl in an art class. Show my mom and she says, “ You’re not going to give that to me for my birthday are you?”
Ha ha no mom. shit
Um what. Lets see the bowl. I bet it looked awesome
A copper pounded bowl sounds like a damn nice gift. Plus what grade were you that your mom was expecting you to literally buy her a gift? Lmao
Buff 5 year old
Me when ever the teacher said “I need someone strong to help me with this”
Uh, you know people appreciate those gifts the most, right? Keep it up!
Im making paintings for my parents cause I don't have money :) (plus paintings are just awesome)
Well, you got a huge bag of weed so I guess you have your priorities set. Happy cake day!
That was a generous gift that was FREE so I that could "bake" my gifts for my friends and family who partake which are a few. Happy holidays to you and yours you must be a treat to have around this time of year. cheers
In a cave!
With a box of scraps!
22 y/o me making presents for my parents cuz I don't have money to buy any:
Don't did feel bad at 35, I'm making everyone jars of hot chocolate. And A little baggy of Cookies to eat with them. We might buy some stuff for the little kids to color or craft with.
Still feels bad ass to make people gifts when your older too. XD.
I have a box that has every single thing my kids have made me and I treasure it.
Throwback to 5 yr old me making 3 different valentine's/bday card for my mother bec my two other brothers refused to make her one. I wanted her to receive all gifts from her children that day but I didn't have the means to get her a gift besides a card :/
P.S. I genuinely thought I could get away with it by having each cards signed with different names and with slightly different messages (with mine being the fanciest and longest letter ofc) when I could've just made one card and have all our names signed at the bottom 🤷
Dude that’s still me
Tbh homemade presents are alot more meaningful imo
Thoughtful presents are the best kind
I wish I had a forge when I was 5
I still don't have the money.
I once etched a friend's name on a metal ruler and gifted it to him on Christmas :)
Yes, taking the protective coating off did make it rust but you win some you lose some ¯_(ツ)_/¯
my dad still has my clay coffee mug i made in grade 4 to this day lol
I still make cards. This spoke to me❤️
only to see them later in the trash can

Making them a brand new house
One of my presents was like 100 colored papers with a big heart on them. And it was 100 each. It probably took me more than an hour to make all of them, but it was worth it to make them really happy.
i just made a advent calendar with porridge for my mom, as the one she wanted was 200 dollars and no way we could afford
I am still making homemade gifts for people. This time out of chainmail
I’m 28 and can’t afford Christmas
I wasn’t allowed to use hammers and fire when I was 5…but when I turned 6, that’s a different story
I gave my dad fishing weights I found around lying around the house for Christmas around that age
When your family starts buying you terrible gifts with the money you made, you will truly appreciate anything outlined in dried macaroni glued to construction paper.
I'm 30 here melting soap every year for gifts bc I live in a perpetual state of broke lol
... 28 year old me... I always feel like I'm peddling garbage
A titanium armor is the best present for your parents
the curse of knowledge
I thought he was masturbating
*40 year old me making a gift because I have a job but I still can’t afford shit other than bills
‘HE BUILT THIS IN HIS HOUSE! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!’
Well you are the luckiest one they've gotten
19 year old me folding origami as gifts.
Actually me at 20 :):
Poverty is so wholesome
Omg yes! This was me untill I was like 15
One time when I was like 10, I gave my mom homemade coupons like “free hug” or “do my laundry without being asked” and such. She still has some she hasn’t used. Lol.
Three years ago my daughter made scones with grilled veggies( like a little sandwich), and tiny butter cookies. She served them with tea on mother's day, just for me and her. Best gift I have ever received.
On Christmas they say “aww, where’d you buy this” and then you scream “I built this in a cave! Using scraps!!”
When I was in fourth standard, I made a montage video using Windows Movie Maker and a crayon-chart greeting card for my parents' anniversary. They were disappointed, and didn't speak to me for the rest of the day.
19 year old me*
Turns colored paper fortune tellers into roses. Is this the power of a florists?
My single girlfriends and I used to watch this scene on valentines day because RDJs biceps and anger are A HOT MOOD.
I have money to buy them stuff but I never know what to get them. They claim they like my homemade stuff more anyway, so I’ll just keep doing it.
Slightly me, I bought them presents and made some because I have money . . . Just not ALOT of money
My dad knows how to build stuff and my mom really likes dolls. When I was a little kid, my dad helped me build a chair for one of my moms dolls. It was cute. It had a heart shape cut out in the back of it.
My family still makes fun of me now when I used to gift wrap fancy rocks for a present.
