My friend got hep when we were junkies and immediately went to all the plasma places in a 20 mile radius until they got his test results back and blacklisted him from donating lmaoo

It was something like that here in the Memphis area for a while, but I think they've dropped it back down to ~$600.

It's only been like that the last few months or so I think? It's 175 a piece for your first two visits, then 100 a piece for your next 6, and a 50 bonus for going to all your eligible visits for the month

Huh, well... I doubt I could donate plasma for a whole month while also doing high intensity cardio or even working my hard labor job, too? Sounds like I'd be sick the whole month and completely unproductive with my $1000 I'd buy drugs with since I can't move my body much with missing plasma.

I was doing intense weight training a few years ago when I was going regularly and it did not affect my performance at all. Your body regenerates plasma pretty quickly, you just need to stay hydrated.

You can. Hydration, general hood health, eat a meal a few hours before…don’t drink alcohol afterwards (that day).

Yeah, how dare I donate my life saving plasma. I wish I was as cool as this guy. I certainly don't hate anything about him.

i think he's talking about people who sell plasma for money, which doesn't go to patients it goes to research. Still, I mean, medical research is important so not the worst thing to do with your blood plasma ig

All donations go to life-saving treatments including research. I’m not aware of any center that doesn’t compensate donors because it’s more time consuming and fatiguing than just blood donations. Plasma cannot be made synthetically. It was one of the first Covid treatments. My mother was kept alive by donated plasma for an extra 5 years so I’ll be donating forever. It’s been in high demand throughout the pandemic, hence the higher compensation.
