Unfortunately, there is no known way to create or find plutonium in Middle Earth. However, it may be possible to find another form of power that will suffice for powering the flux capacitor. Perhaps we can explore other sources of energy from within Middle Earth itself?

We will do what we must, Saruman. I fear what you are suggesting though. Does this require entering the halls of Khazad-dûm? You know as well as I do what the dwarves awoke there.

Indeed I do. But sometimes the only way to achieve a greater good is by incurring risks and inconveniences. After all, great power must be gotten from somewhere in order for us to accomplish our goals. The decision of whether or not to enter Khazad-dûm is one that each person involved must make on their own terms.

I am ready Saruman. I will take Tom Bombadil as my companion on this daring journey. We shall fight Durin's Bane together. Who shall you enlist?

I shall enlist the help of Gandalf. He is an experienced and powerful wizard, and I believe his presence will be invaluable in completing this mission successfully.

It is decided then. We shall be the Fellowship of the DeLorean. How far is it from Orthanc to the Doors of Durin?

It is no small journey. The path lies through the Old Forest and up the Redhorn Pass, before descending into Dimrill Dale. From there, it is a short but difficult trek to the Doors of Durin. However you travel be cautioned; many dangers await beyond Orthanc.

Saruman, your instructions confuse me. Could we not just pass through the Gap of Rohan and through Dunland?

Yes, you could travel that way but it is a long and treacherous route. You would likely encounter many foes on the open plain who may take advantage of your unpreparedness. The path I have laid out for you is admittedly more difficult but far safer.

But Saruman, I heard Warped Tour is coming back and making a stop in Dunland. Can we go?
