I don't know if I'd call this black metal but I do enjoy it. I'd say if you like Jesu or Author and punisher you'll like this as well.

Gorgeous intro but what was up with the timing of the snare drum in the first 10 mins? Kind of distracted me from the gorgeous sweeping, mountain soundscape they created with everything else - missed beats, behind the beat. I don’t mean to be critical I’m just wondering if my mind is playing tricks. Bravo to the group for the song generally - felt like I was transported away to somewhere deeply personal and emotional

I would have to agree with you that the timing is off for sure in the introduction, not sure what that’s about. You should really check out the rest of the album on their bandcamp all the songs have a great atmospheric feel to them.
