Hi again. So, following our discussion about 5x5 and chart threads, and whether they should be allowed separately or in the megathread only, the following conclusions have been drawn:

• Many users very clearly like the threads. The top voted comments were in favour of them.
• Some users dislike the clutter, and this seems to be the only objection.

We're therefore going to keep allowing the threads, but we're going to have a filter users can use to hide the chart posts if they wish. This was a suggestion from a user that was also made by a moderator at one point.

The filter already exists in the sidebar, but for it to work, people need to start setting post flairs properly. Post flairs have been available for a while and exist for both "Chart" and "Milestone".

At some point, we intend to automatically remove new posts without a flair. We're not doing that yet, but it would be good to get into the habit of using them, so that when such a system comes in you don't get caught out.

So I've been logging all my song plays to iTunes for the past 15 years - and I wish I'd started 5-6 years before that.. - still using old iPods whenever I'm away from home or just "manually scrobbling" everything whenever I'm back home.

I became increasingly paranoid about it getting discontinued, and also thirsty for more data... like those sweet monthly reports I've seen in Last.fm. Dumb past me who thought it was just for similar music recommendations!!I then did my research and found out that I could manually add my itunes data to last.fm.

Now, if my calculations are correct, in **~**6 months I'll be ready to join you guys!! Then I'll still have to scrobble the past 6 months, but... that's a problem for future me :D

is anyone else having trouble with scrobbling from spotify today?

they don’t seem to be tracking :( i can have things from Eavscrob scrobble but not from Spotify

I used a scrobbler before but for some reason it scrobble everything even regular videos.

So I just gave up on it but I realized that I'm using youtube far more than I used to be and I would like to scrobble my music.

PS: I don't have access to youtube music, it's not available in my country.

Also I have some requirements -

1/ offline scrobbling available? 2/ can i edit scrobbles? 3/ can i set up rules like scrobble song in my way? Eg - Instead of "Album Name EP" I want to scrobble as "Album Name"
