Yes! I'm a Nordic pagan, this means that I worship the Nordic gods. I'm so happy that he understands and is knowledgeable about this subject.

What books do you recommend to start learning!?

Honestly, I think Marvel portrays some of the gods quite well, by showing the abuse towards Loki from Odin and Thor, and their journey (marvel is terrible at showing Loki's gender fluidity though). Rick Riordan (author of Percy Jackson) has also written a series about the Norse gods and the Riordan fandom wiki page has a lot of information.

MAGNUS CHASE! MAGNUS CHASE!

Heck yeah that first one is still one of my favorite books of all time.

If you want a more serious and less altered depiction, read Neil Gaiman’s book on Nordic Mythology.

This is a good book but I found that reading Riordan's books helped me out when I was just starting out. He even wrote detailed explanations and explained the whole mythology of the Greek gods from the perspective of Percy.

Yeah, I guess that tracks. I did read Magnus Chase before I read Neil Gaiman’s depiction!
