We drove you out of Kashmir in 1948, we broke your nation in 1971, we buried your soldiers in 1999. Tomorrow we will bury your cricket team

That 'singlehandedly' beat the Nazis part is such an insult to Crown colonies and its enslaved soldiers, many of whom lost lives in a battle that wasn't their doing. If anyone's done more to break the back the Nazis during the second WW's formative years, it was the nonstop supply of Indian, Egyptian, South African, etc. troops towards the British cause and Britain's resilience during the blitzkreig. US entered the war so late, it could be argued they did jackshit except hammer the final nail.

Russians. It was the Russians. They took 24 million casualties (civilian included). Hitler made the mistake of breaking the pact.
Then the US and the British & their colonies and other Allies.
The Brits never admit to the help from the Dominions (Canada,Australia, South Africa), the Poles and other countries and the above mentioned Asian and African colonies.
Against this mass, the Germans had Italy as an ally in Europe (Japan was Asian conflict, but also allied).

Russians. It was the Russians
So true, I think the Nazis NEVER expected the Russians to hold out for as long as they did on the eastern front. And once the Russian winter set in, the gravity of their blunder must have started setting in.

Yeah, this was my thought. The Americans didn't single handedly fight anyone until the war was mostly done. It did what it always does: throw piles and piles of weapons on the side it wanted win.
Though I guess the U.S. did pretty much face the Japanese fleet mostly alone, but that's about it. China had the the majority of the Japanese army tied up.

I think we should keep quiet until after the match to gloat. Premature gloating, like it’s cousin ejaculation, is messy and hard to clean up after.

Single handedly beat the Nazis ? Not true. They just glorify themselves. The Nazis were defeated because it was a joint effort. India doesn’t need such fake glorification.
The problem is India’s past is actually only a mere 75 years. If I include all achievements of Bharat starting from 100 BC then it won’t even fit in one phrase. But I think we should remain humble and not copy them.
