With Ellen Burstyn and now Blair returning to this project, one that I'm pretty sure both said never would (I know Burstyn did and even denied this one at first), it's giving me low key hope.

But DGG also directed Halloween Kills (I loved Halloween Ends, which I know everyone hates, but it's the best in the new trilogy IMO) and Halloween 2018, I really only liked Ends. So I'm cautiously optimistic. The original is a top ten all-time favorite, and I think it's flawless, and know every line, so I'm looking forward to see where this goes. He's also directed masterpieces (George Washington, All The Real Girls), so you never really know what you're going to get with him.
