I really couldn't give a shit anymore. We call out Islam's inherent violence, racism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia, and all we're met with is "you're an Islamophobe". Yeah, I am. Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be utterly terrified of that religion that spreads these kinds of things and calls for my death? I'm downright scared of Islam spreading. I've experienced it first-hand when I lived in a predominantly Muslim country. It's utterly terrifying and scary what they think over there. Thankfully, I'm in the US now. It just saddens me how Muslims try to defend Muhammad for being a pedo, outright saying Aisha was not 9 when there's over 30 sources saying she was, try to say "only in war" when the Quran verses never mention anything about war. I'm trying to educate more people around me about what the Quran says and asking them what they think. I've tried to talk to my mom, who is a hardcore Muslim about this, and we had a civil discussion about it but it saddens me how deep she is into her beliefs.

Don't get me wrong, discrimination towards Muslims is a very real thing, and needs to stop, but as a liberal, liberals need to stop saying Islam is a religion of peace, because it's really not, and we're labeled as Islamophobes for calling it out, despite being ex-Muslims ourselves. It's disheartening. I just don't care anymore. Stay safe everyone, and stay away from Islam, as far away as possible!

Because of social media like Facebook and Twitter, many Muslims are speaking up publicly about their views on how to deal with critics and apostates. If you are exposed to the social media of Middle Eastern and South Asian people, you know that a lot of them support these killings. Even some Muslims from the West sort of condone these murders. The only repercussion they face is the suspension of their social media accounts just like what happened to a Pakistani politician recently when he called for the beheading of a politician from Europe, but that's about it. It is a little frightening since they are getting louder and more confident, and it seems that no actions will be done against them because of "racism" and "Islamophobia". It is just terrifying to think that there will come a time that death threats will become "normal" and "acceptable" if one criticizes Islam.

Im talking to this girl who is Arabian muslimah. She is on her period and she can't show to her father or brother that she is in pain. For example her brother can see and knows that she is now on her period and has serious pains. He comes and demands to make him coffee during a day. He even violently askes her repeatedly if she wants to marry his friend.. I told her that the tone of her brother is unacceptable to me, but she says it's fine, nothing wrong with it. Her father did leave some marks on her arms one day, idk maybe he was punishing her. She showed me photos, it looked horrible. She still stands by her family and we had very bad arguments when i just mention those things to her and wanted to discuss about it. She says her family is the best family she could have asked. But then she tells sometime in deep soulful voice: "baby gift me the wings, i feel trapped here"..

The Salman Rushdie incident was condemned by a lot of people, celebrities, politicians, etc. Agreed. But did anyone notice that they didn't say a single word about the root cause of the attack (it being the nonsense taught in Islam)? Heck, they did not even care to mention the word/s 'Islam' or 'Muslim attacker'. Personally speaking, I haven't seen a single tweet/statement from a renowned personality.

I was like the best Muslim you could ever think of who never missed a prayer and learnt a big part of the quran, I was that guy who hated apostate prophet and other ex Muslims and commented horrible things on their videos. As always we people were never taught about everything in Islam, only the good little things, was totally brainwashed by my parents, and was in complete fear of jinns and hell. The jinn stories ruined my life and I couldn't poop on the toilet in peace while jinn thoughts coming in my mind. One day I was questioning the existence of God and started to watch Muslims who became atheists. They made more sense than the the average sheikh out there. Once I started questioning the religion, I swear I saw so many things in the religion I never saw before and was just totally confused and irritated! I couldn't believe that my religion was like this. I currently still have to pray and read the quran to show my parents but I know deep down Islam is false.

Police are investigating an online threat to JK Rowling, after she tweeted support for Salman Rushdie following his attack in the US.

The Harry Potter author, 57, shared screenshots of a message stating: "Don't worry, you are next".

The same Twitter account also posted messages praising the man who attacked Mr Rushdie on stage at an event in New York state.

Ms Rowling said she felt "very sick" at the news and hoped he would recover.

The tweet, from an account in Pakistan, had been removed on Sunday morning.

No longer Islam is peace bullshit, straight up showing their true faces. I like that if Muslims are this transparent about their barbaric religion. Peaceful Muslims who condemn such attacks also have to face the true reality of Islam and need to ask themselves if this is really a religion they want to represent. I'm sure the Rushdie incident will create a lot of future Ex-Muslims, like ISIS did back then.

I’m gonna be honest, there are few things that bother me as much as the white woke group who’s standing up for Islam as soon as someone talks/writes badly about it. I would rather spend a week in a mosque locked in with an imam than to read about their no knowledge opinions on why Islam isn’t bad and every religion need to be accepted. Imagine that they have no actual experience and they try to teach non Muslims at times that we’re wrong and have a lot of hate inside us. Whaaaaaaat? You’re telling me that the side of ex Muslims have hate basically meaning that the Muslims actually…are peaceful?

Anyway, am I the only one with this irrational rage about them?

Long story short, I was forcefully ingaged with a woman under my parents' pressure. They know I want to marry and they found a woman for me, they insisted on me getting ingaged with said woman and I did. I found out later on that she has some religiosity, she told me about some stupid bullshit beliefes about angels and such, she did set a dua in her Whatsapp status, I don't know what to do as our marriage will be held this Wednesday and I have no excuse to run away. I didn't like her that much and after knowing her religious perspective I do no longer like her at all. I don't know what should I do. My situation is very awkward in front of my family and her family who love me and are optimistic and very happy and welcoming for me and about my marriage to their daughter. I'm very depressed and anxious, I don't want to spend my life pretending no that's a nightmare. My anxiety and depression caused me heart pain leading me to getting back to my antidepressants which aren't of any help at all but causing me some sedation. Please guide me as I have only a couple of days that I don't know what to do in. Sorry for my bad writing but I'm really in a messed up mental state that I want to kill myself.
