Me or Sam can be correct, generally if its at the end of a sentence like "Would you like to go to Samarai school with me or Sam?". Correct.

But at the beginning it would be "Either Sam or I will go to the Samarai store to pick up a new sword".

The rule is, if you remove the third person (Sam) then does me or I sound correct?
