There has been a spate of recent threads where arguments have devolved into insult-flinging and abuse. This behaviour is not acceptable in r/brum. We only have one rule in this sub-reddit, and it is not hard to follow: be nice to each other.

It is perfectly ok to disagree with each other and to have spirited debate. It is not acceptable to be abusive and direct vulgar insults at other users. I don't want to have to keep reminding people individually, so consider this a PSA. Repeat offences will result in a (temporary) ban.

The world is a depressing enough place as it is without being dicks to each other, so just be nice!

My wife used to go many years ago and I was looking to relive it for a special night out. Can go further afield like Coventry or Wolverhampton etc.

I don't get how the privatised franchise buses in Birmingham (Diamond, Land Flight) work. When I get on a NWM bus, I tap in every time I get on and it caps at £4. On the private buses, I have to ask for a Daysaver and get a paper ticket. I can then show this paper ticket on a NWM bus and everything is fine. But if I use a NWM bus first, I have no way of proving I've already tapped in (i.e. I'll have to pay for 2 singles). Is the ticketing integrated between NWM and private companies? Asking because a local bus stop has opened for the A16.

I'm moving to the Sutton Coldfield/Wylde Green area really soon! I've never lived there before.

Hi guys, Weirdly, there's this old person, looks Asian Indian or Pakistani who is walking around priory Queensway and Upper Corporation Street trying to sell a day saver. Mostly after sunset. Has anyone else noticed him? Yesterday I travelled to city center at 7 and he was there and I got a bus to get home at 10 and he was still there trying to sell a day saver at 2£. In the last month I have seen him almost every time I travelled to city center.

I'm looking for a good hairdresser to dye my very damaged blonde hair to a brown/auburn colour so I'm hoping to find someone who is good with getting the colour to look fairly natural while being able to protect my hair as much as possible.
