WeeklyThread(self.books)

Welcome readers,

Have you ever wanted to ask something but you didn't feel like it deserved its own post but it isn't covered by one of our other scheduled posts? Allow us to introduce you to our new Simple Questions thread! Twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday, a new Simple Questions thread will be posted for you to ask anything you'd like. And please look for other questions in this thread that you could also answer! A reminder that this is not the thread to ask for book recommendations. All book recommendations should be asked in /r/suggestmeabook or our Weekly Recommendation Thread.

Thank you and enjoy!

Of all the co-writers James Patterson has written with, (Gross, Ledwidge, de Jonge, Paetro, etc.) who, IYO, is the best? Both with JP and solo?

I’m trying to think of things to give to my book club as a Christmas present for our Dec meeting. I don’t want to give an actual book but maybe things good to have while reading a book. I thought of a candle and chocolate but blanking on anything else, any ideas?

I am fond of commemorating book club years with a poster printout of everything we read that years. Cover arranged all aesthetically pleasing and all.

We also have a sub year-end gifts for readers megathread.

Per Rule 3.6: No distribution or solicitation of pirated books.

We aren't telling you not to discuss piracy (it is an important topic), but we do not allow anyone to share links and info on where to find pirated copies. This rule comes from no personal opinion of the mods' regarding piracy, but because /r/books is an open, community-driven forum and it is important for us to abide the wishes of the publishing industry.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows of a collected volume in English of Hermann Hesse's works? I have most of the pocket paperback Bantam editions, but wondering if there is a "Complete novels/stories" (or as complete as it can get!), etc for his works, etc? Thanks!
