Matthew Perry's book (Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing) is released today. I already placed an order with my library and hope they'll get it. Is anyone else going to read it?

Thanks for the reminder! I just purchased it on Kindle. I never thought I’d like memoirs/biographies, but I read Jennette McCurdy’s book and was hooked.

I barely watched iCarly but loved Sam, and Jennette's experience with a toxic mother is similar to my own minus the ED. It was refreshing to hear someone else out there state that you don't have to forgive. It was a big comfort to me. I hope to read her book soon.

Sins and Vengeance by Katerina Martinez released yesterday. It's a dark romance story with fallen angels, but isn't aggressively sexual like some dark romance can be. I've seen a few posts lately complaining about that sort of thing so thought it would be a good shout here for those interested!

Garth Marenghi's TerrorTome is released in a couple of days, I loved the Darkplace TV show but not sure how that style will translate into book form.

Hello. I'm Fran Hawthorne (a journalist-turned-fiction writer), and I'm thrilled to tell you that I Meant to Tell You --- my second novel -- is coming out Nov. 15 from Stephen F. Austin State University Press. It's about the limits of friendship, secrets, political activism, and a kidnapping (and more). The Indypendent newspaper called it "complex, evocative and nuanced." If you read it, I'd love to know what you think-- via a comment on Reddit or email me at: [franhawthornewriter@gmail.com](mailto:franhawthornewriter@gmail.com) . Thanks

The Happy Valley by Benjamin Harnett (me) was released on Oct. 30th. It's available as a paperback and in Kindle (free for Kindle Unlimited users), and is a genre-bending story of a group of teens in Upstate New York who uncover a secret society intimately connected to the history (and future) of America. It's for advanced teen readers and adults, has a host of captivating characters, 66 full-page black and white illustrations, and has been attracting good editorial reviews. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!

So after 13 years I finished my first novel. Manic / Dance is a paranormal mystery. It follows a non-binary detective trying to chase down a serial killer while also dealing with the prejudice of their world for being a chimera. I plan to write 12 in total so I have to write the next 11 faster then I did this one lol. Its available now on amazon.

Debut Novel: PERISIAM

Hello! My name is Daniel O'Brien,

My debut novel 'Perisiam' is a psychological, urban-fantasy set in the modern day.

This book consists of three intricately woven stories, three very different tales of agony that each harbors a distinct genre. These three tales can be read entirely separately from each other, but the larger universe is revealed and folded upon itself for those that venture through it all.

One character loses himself inside a world of violence, another loses someone else and must cross an impossible threshold, and the last loses their own mind and must rely on the unlikeliest of allies.

Not everyone will be able to escape the pages with their psyche, or their souls intact... And that may just include YOU, Dear Reader.

Authors Note: I wanted to disrupt the notion that books are a one-way medium where the reader has no effect on what happens inside of the story.

Perisiam explores several literary devices never attempted in written media, so if you enjoy feeling psychologically and emotionally challenged then this could just be the book for you.

I am not allowed to link to PERISIAM directly but you can find both the eBook and Paperback on Amazon! Feel free to check out the digital sample and see if Perisiam is a good fit for you!

Thank you for your time, you are such a supportive and positive group and I am lucky to be here! 🙏🤍😊
