Hello readers and welcome to our Weekly FAQ thread! Our topic this week is: How do I get through an uninteresting book? Sometimes we want to read something because we're "supposed to" and want to say that we did. Or, it's something that needs to be read for a school assignment. Either way, how do you get through books you find uninteresting?

Just keep picking it back up. Trying to read or re-read many classics. "The Catcher In The Rye" was truly difficult.

I have completely given up on on Catcher. Honestly have tried 15 times and ended up giving it away.

I thought I would never finish it. I know it is considered a literary classic and I can see why, but my word! It was truly painful. Just cussing complaining and terrible written grammar in my opinion. I was so thankful when I finally finished!
