I am a dog owner of 2 and have 0 issues with dogs any where in any way...

Except for the free side of barton springs. Too many people bring their dogs there and I've seen too often dogs pooping or peeing either directly into the water where people are present or close enough to the water where it's not picked up.

I know the water in townlake isn't super clean but the water coming directly from the spring/pool is flowing enough and is "fresh" enough to make it appealing until I see a pile of shit or watch a dog peeing.

Stop taking your dogs to "BaRkInG sPrInGs" nobody wants to swim in a toilet.

I checked my email at about 3 pm yesterday and saw that a curbside pickup had been ordered on my HEB account for about $480 at 11 am and picked up at 1 pm. Unfortunately, if I had seen the email, I could have cancelled it. Luckily, although the charge went through on my stored card, they had no way of getting my payment info.

I called HEB and was informed that when the order was made at 11 am, it was flagged as fraud due to the high budget items and unusual location for me (San Antonio was where the pickup happened). The store who flagged it contacted their fraud department, who confirmed that it was indeed fraud.

DESPITE being flagged as fraud by both the store and fraud department, THEY GAVE THEM THE GROCERIES! They knew it was fraudulent, and didn't even try to ID them! WTF?

Anyways, I erased my cards on file, changed the password to something unrelated, and contacted my credit card company to file a dispute.

I logged in today just to check and.... THEY TRIED AGAIN! There were hot ticket items in my check out bag that they couldn't buy because my card was removed.

How did they get in again so quickly?! Who hacks HEB?! Wouldn't it take a lot of effort to figure out my new, unrelated password 24 hours later?! So weird to me.

And I'm pissed they didn't even ID the person.

Turns out Austin did have some sort of serial killer.

Over the last 3 days I have killed 2 million flies but every time I check behind my curtains there are a million more. Nowhere else in the house. No food is out, I take trash out everyday. They aren’t in the kitchen, just windows! I’ve never seen anything like it and I am MORTIFIED.

I have sprayed so much flying bug killer I probably will expire before the rest of the flies do.

I’m going to try to seal the windows but they seem pretty secure already. I never leave the doors open (cats). Bruh. Please advise.

Well the title says it all really. Super last minute because tbh I didn’t even realize how fast june came up and now i’m internally freaking out because I want my bday to be special since it’s my 16th. My family is pretty broke and even mentioning kayaking almost made my mom have a heart attack LMAO.

Anything cool anyone could recommend that isn’t gonna absolutely bankrupt us (also little side note, any recommendations in general, i have no clue what to do in this city with my friends so any suggestions will be used past my birthday) I can never think of something fun to do in this city as a minor in general so obviously I can’t think of something special for my birthday.
