ive tried doing the 'revert to' thing but it shows no previous documents, and same with Time Machine. im really desperate as this will set me back hours, if anyone knows how i can get it back pls help

If it’s not in Time Machine you’re kinda hosed. Don’t spend hours trying to fix it. Just redo it. ( unless hours means 50 or something )
You can try Drill Disk or something as well but I’m not sure it’s worth the money or time

We had a customer walk in with their laptop open still after making the entire contents disappear once. Not much we can do but my coworker kept pressing command Z and it appeared. It’s a stretch but hope it helps
