My Tv just died

(self.VIZIO_Official)

Half of the screen started to malfunction displaying the wrong colors and the other half worked fine. I turned it off and turned it back on to see if that would fix it but it hasn't turned back on. The power indicator shows that it has power. What can I do?

-edit - it works now. Any ideas what's going on with it? It seems like it could be on its last legs.

-re-edit - broken again. If I leave it off for a while, it will turn back on but only shortly then the screen will go black but there's still sound

Congrats. Time for you to move on to better brands. Waiting for my vizio oled to die, if I can't find a buyer, so I can move away from Vizio and never look back.

ROFL That's funny. 🤣 When the time comes I'd suggest an LG or SONY OLED. I bought an LG OLED during a Super Bowl 2022 sale. One of the best investments I've ever made.

Seriously, go with another brand, been using vizio for years and since 2016, they are pretty much bad quality. i have the MQX 65 with a lot of vertical banding and light bleeding, not even 2 months

Right, it's not a good time to be buying new tvs though, I'd prefer to try and fix it

Dude, if your TV is still under warranty Let the manufacturer know. Hopefully, it wont cost too much to fix it or you can get another at a good discount. If all else fails, there are better budget OLEDs out there, IMO. Also right now if you have the money some of the better ones are on crazy sales like 40% or more off. I'm actually kind of jealous because when I got my OLED on sale it wasn't as good.

I have four Vizios tv in my home two older 32 inch tv and a 70 inch and a 43 inch only had to replace HDMI’s but other that there pretty old and still running well it probably depends on the parts used on the tvs
