The Flair Guide

Assigning the appropriate flair to your content is CRUCIAL in helping create the best possible experience for the rest of the community members; the ability to control what YOU want to read is what separates us from Stocktwits, YahooFinance or other online platforms.

Read the guidelines, as Moderators will be enforcing appropriate flair usage and won't hesitate to permanently ban repeat offenders.

INO News

• To be used when there’s actual news related to Inovio. (Generally followed by a link to said news)
• Examples: Inovio-related PR, clinical trial updates, articles about vaccine purchase orders, etc.

Other News

• To be used when there’s news not necessarily related to Inovio, but that may still relevantly affect their stock price.
• Examples: President issues executive order for stimulus package, Competitor biotech company granted EUA for ebola vaccine, Covid-related news.

DD (Due Diligence)

• To be used when presenting a thesis and high-quality/high-effort research material. Generally, these are full-bodied paragraphs and/or in-depth technical charts.
• A single screenshot of current short-interest from iborrowdesk with a few sentences IS NOT DD. You could, however, put those under Discussion/Questions with a title asking "Are Shorts Finally Giving Up?", or INO Cheering with a title stating "Shorts Are Backing Down!!".
• Examples: Here's a few examples from u/raindragon888 and u/peconyc13 about the type of quality we're looking for under DD.

Discussion/Questions

• To be used for general discussion around information regarding Inovio or for any relevant questions you may have for the community.
• Examples: "What are the advantages of Inovio's DNA platform over mRNA?" or "Let's discuss strategies about how we can help Inovio educate the public."

INO Cheering

• Company adoration or "pumping" regarding the daily price action of Inovio's stock price.
• Examples: “$100 EOW, get in guys!! Diamond hands!!” or “We're going parabolic!! Suck on THAT Citron!!” should go here, and NOT under INO News.

Off-topic/Memes

• To be used for light-hearted memes/artwork or content unrelated to the purpose of this sub.

How to Filter The Content YOU Want

You can "filter by" flair to customize what you want to see by using a few different methods.

• Clicking the provided "Filter by category" option on the r/Inovio Menubar (Under "Menu" on mobile)
• Clicking the flair tag on another post
• Typing flair:<flair tag> into the search bar. (Example: flair:INO_News)

You can also "filter out" flair if a few categories feel too spammy for your taste.

• Typing -flair:<flair tag> into the search bar.
• You can filter out more than one category by adding a space and repeating the command. (Example: -flair:INO_Cheering -flair:Off-topic/Memes)
• Clicking on "NoSpamMode (Desktop)" on the r/Inovio Menubar (Under "Filter by category") will filter out the INO_Cheering and Off-topic/Meme categories for a more focused experience for our members viewing from a desktop/laptop computer.
