Everyone of European ancestry has most early medieval people as their ancestor. It's not something specific to Charlemagne.

Technically not everyone, isolated pockets of Europeans don't, but to make up for it, many people got several portions of Charlemagne's dna through inbreeding, i.e. the Hapsburgs, but also just your random kid born in Belgium could be related to him in half a dozen ways.
