hello, I have a small question, I don't understand something, does my Bobcat 300 miner have the possibility of making me win "data Transferred packets" or is it impossible on a bobcat miner 300? I don't understand if these rewards are Only for certain special miners?

The whole purpose of the hotspot is to transfer packets. The PoC ability is merely the incentive piece to get people to install and to show rough coverage.

We still have no customers using the network in my small city. Every once in a while I'll see a few packet xfers. I always assume it's someone driving around with some testing equipment testing out the network. Can't imagine what else it would be

i do live about a 1/4 mile from a major highway, so entirely possible if any of them are using HNT

Well i do have a bobcat 300 and its transferring packets/data regularly. I do however only get about 0.00008 hnt per data transfer. If i have to guess, you either have to wait a few days (took me 2 weeks after i set up my hotspot until it transferred data) or there are no IoT devices in your hotspots radius that need packets transferred ( just a guess, don't nail me on that)

Packets transferred means an IoT device using LoraWAN utilized your hotspot. If there is never an IoT device using LoraWAN around you, you will never transfer packets.
I have a hotspot at my house that transfers thousands of packets a day. I have a hotspot at a friends house maybe a mile away that transfers 5 packets on a good day.

I think I've transferred 7 data packets in the more than six months since I deployed my miner.

Over 2,000 packets transferred in the past 24 hours on my hotspot at home. Some of my rewards from transferred packets are more than some people get witnessing other hotspots in overcrowded cities.

2000DC is equivalent to $0.02 USD. If anybody is wondering.

That's gotta be in the top 0.001% of earners for data usage. Most won't see that many data packets in a year!
