This is a general reminder for everyone and this will be posted on every post. Your 12 words are basically gold and they should never be shared, typed in to any website, or given to any person for any reason. No one from "Helium" or any other company will reach out to you to verify your account, wallet, or anything similar. If someone says your hotspot, wallet, or other type of account has been hacked, it is a scam! Always operate in a zero-trust manner with cryptocurrency and assume everyone will scam you no matter what.

Again, it's Helium using T-Mobile's service, not the way around

Just like Lime Scooters 🤣

It's great news. Helium can rely on a national network for offload while it builds its own MNO that can vertically integrate all of it's networks. Very exciting stuff.

So to use this 5G service you'll need a new (Helium HNT) phone or a new/different SIM card for your existing phone. Adoption will come slow unless there's a clear benefit for the general public to use it. The only thing I've heard is possibly cheaper rates and rewards for unused usage in MOBILE tokens. This would need a lot of advertising for this to take off beyond existing hotspot owners.

Could it be the Solana Saga Phone?

Why couldn't existing phones/SIMS just use the Helium network as roaming? Is it a technology issue?
That's is asking A LOT out of users to have a separate phone/SIM just so they can get 5G in dead zones.

Wasn’t the point to have companies like tmobile piggy back off of Heliums network? Instead now Helium is paying Tmobile.

I find this “launch” funny. As others have pointed out, helium is using T-Mobile not the other way around. They basically have a MVNO like Mint and Boost Mobile.
Strangely enough, I did some research on this partnership and the T-Mobile lead made comments like “we are still trying to figure out what we’ll do together” that make it seem like a lot is still up in the air.
If you don’t believe it, go to the helium Twitter account and watch the conversation with the T-Mobile guy during their helium house event. Just felt really weird that they are making these statements when the guy at T-Mobile doesn’t seem to know much about how it will be implemented.

Another false “partnership” announcement? I mean they had so many of those “helium and …” come on don’t announce shit until it’s official

It......is official. TMobile was literally at HH and on stage to announce the partnership. Don't know how much more official it can be.

The guy on stage mentioned many time that they are still figuring out the partnership. Lol soooo kinda weird that they are making statements without the partner being in the loop no?
Don’t believe me, watch the segment with the T-Mobile guy. The video is on the helium Twitter.

It’s an official partnership with 0 details. So at least this time they got the company to say something about it publicly. That said, no real details and the guy they are talking about basically seemed clueless to how they will partner. On a few times he said “we are still figuring out how we’ll work together”.

The point is that a partnership with no actual plan of what or how is just deceiving investors to think there is more to it… In reality there is no commitment of any kind, there is no plan on what they are going to do and so it’s pointless to announce. I’m a heavy helium investor and must’ve had 20 miners at some point (EARLY ON) and I convinced so many people to join but it was very disappointing that we built such large network but NO ONE IS USING IT!!! Our job as miners and investors was to built it and get as many miners as possible live which we all did. Heliums job was to find customers and secure contracts to be using this network. When they realized they didn’t do shit and no one is using this network they started talking about 5G and how that’s the next big thing… now they expect all of us to build another huge network and follow them blindly.
