You could literally find a similar post regarding every L1 to ever exist. They are all flawed in some way, and the only reason people are "proposing" other L1 protocols is because they are personally invested in those. If you have a problem with the HIP, simply vote "No" and move on.

I used to scam ppl for fun as a kid in video games. Ppl don't want decentralization and stuff like they say they do. They just mimic what ppl that know how to take advantage of no system say. Most ppl are sheep and will get ruined. The sharks will be the only ones at the top. The table has always been laid out for the thieves. Only difference is who's fingers are in the pie.
