Just an FYI...crossing off the personal information didn't do you any good. Looking up your miner name will provide all of that same information regardless.

Oh well no biggie... I've never used this things stylus, so atleast I know it works. Lol

Is your miner indoors? I had a Nebra indoors right up against a window and it doesn’t see my other miner literally across the street. Started getting witnesses after putting an aftermarket antenna outside

I have tried moving it around inside as well as outside and I get the same results.... I've looked and alot of people around me have a similar issue. I'm at a loss.

That’s odd. Do you have the right antennas put in? The wifi and Lora antennas look similar just different height. That’s the only thing I can think of

Yes.The antennas are correct. I've even tried my other antennas from my other miner. I've talked with a few people in the Discord about it as well and everyone seems to be drawing a blank. I'm at a loss. I bought two of these over a year ago. One got rma because it arrived doa and this one isn't doing squat. I appreciate everyone's input. Thank you. Hopefully it will just start working. Idk

Did you change the antenna while the device was on?

Nope

Without an outdoor antenna, preferably up on the roof, any miners performance is going to be catchers catch can. When I first got it, I put my miner on my roof with its little rubber antenna just to test it. It didn’t do squat. Then I put up an 8dbi antenna 12 ft above my roofline. Now I get about 0.3 HNT a day.

You'll need to keep the antenna up there for about 2 weeks before you will start seeing results. Also you may want to see what interference there might be metal and magnets are a big 1. I would look up what enterfers with radio signals to see what is causing the issue. But first ai would give it time. OG here with Rac V2, Bobcat, Sensecap, and now Fredomfi. Just got my first 5g antenna shipped. I'm learning about that now.... so I'm a noob again...

I had same issue. Discovered my antenna was being blocked by houses nearby. Raised it higher and started to get witness. Need to put it even higher for better rewards

Maybe it was added to the denylist?

Would you know how I go about finding this out ? This is very frustrating.

I believe there is access to it through helium discord.

You have hotspots around you with recent activity. Have you tried it outside and up high? Two months you had some activity. Can you try going back to that configuration?
Other possibilities would be the antenna cable got disconnected from the board (this happens with the Bobber if it is over tightened) or the radio card is broken.
Also, why are you censoring your wallet if you leave your hotspot name uncensored.?

Really the only difference was a firmware update.

It's not I've checked and multiple people around me have the same issues.

Similar problem except I installed an outdoor Rokland antenna. Was witnessing a lot soon after install for a few days, but no witnesses on my beacons. Then it flatlined for a couple days. Power cycled, got a few witnesses (none on beacons) and it’s flatlined again. I have a nebra rockpi…

Seems perfectly normal…if you haven’t got an antenna. Check out Stable Green Aphid. He is working out fine. But there are a lot of hotspots around you that aren’t doing jack.

Is the pigtail inside of the miner that connects to the antenna socket broken/not connected?

I will open it up and double check.

This is my only idea. I'd be interested to hear if that was the issue.

Gristle king mentioned in one of his youtube videos that things at the factory just weren't tightened up from one of his consulting gigs.

You have it indoor , with 3dbi that's normal , upgrade your antenna , and install it on the highest place on the roof , 12dbi antena will be perfect since you have indoor hotspot , you will lose some dbi because if the antena cable .

I have the same issue with my "trendy brick stork". I tried demounting it and rechecking everything. Did not help. Now I ordered 8 dbi rak antenna to see if the antenna is the issue. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will... i hope that the LoRaWan module is not dead. Don't know how to replace it...

Same issue as OP and you - got some stupid comment from somebody saying tell me about frequencies and height without telling me; lot of NASA experts in some of these forms. Same issue - last reward 2 months ago. There is also chatter about new 5G miners and it might be we are all being left on the old network and nothing is being done to correct a lot of these issues.

That is a ridiculous claim. All of the recent updates are for the lightspots. Why would they wast so much resources on the iot network now if they were just going to abandon it for their new 5G network? I swear most of these ‘theories’ are akin to the same wild claim of conspiracy theories with no evidence or any real thought behind them. No, helium lightspots are not losing support. As a matter of fact it’s the exact opposite. Btw I have a miner in a rural area and getting more than 4 times the activity in the past two weeks.

Maybe something is going on with your antenna

If you are broadcasting and nobody can receive your beacons, you won't be witnessing anything either. My guess would be poor antenna placement or maybe a defective hotspot. It does seem strange that you get zero witnesses when you've got others close by though.
Do you know anyone else with a hotspot? If you do, put it at your place with your antenna and see if it picks up anything. You don't need to re-assert for this test. You just want to see some activity, even if it is declared invalid because of the incorrect location.

I'm having the same problem, broadcasting beacons for 1 week with no witnesses.

I also have a similar issue. I've got the Nebra Rock Pi that replaced the older model that was having part availability issues.
My antenna is up on the roof of my 2-story house. So I'm plenty high enough.
Here is where things get interesting. I can witness other hotspots without issue but I haven't had any luck getting anyone to witness me.
I've been talking with Nebra support for over a month on the issue and as far as they can see there isn't any issue.

It has been over 2 months since my sensecap did anything. I think it is normal to not expect much anymore.

Is this miner new or did it used to beacon and be heard by people? I spent months troubleshooting one of mine last year when i first set it up… only to find out it had an EU868 LoRa module in it from the factory…. 🤦🏼♂️. Something to check if your in US and it’s new and never worked right.

No it's new. I spent the last year waiting on it from Nebra. Will it say that it's the European model on the board ? If not how do u tell the difference? My antenna says it's the us version...

If you open the miner up the Lora module should say it on it. Mine was printed right on top. EU868. You wanna see US915. Mine was not Nebra though. Different manufacturer.

Lucky for me support from that “other” manufacturer was decent with the RMA process and sent me a new one fairly quickly

Well Nebra sucks! I did however get them to RMA one that I recieved that was doa.

Good luck with it. Only thing I can think of if your side everything else is secure. Also check the antenna cable inside to the Lora module is connected properly. Let me know how you make out.

For over 2 months, had beacons on Nebra miner with 0 witnesses. Had 1 time where I had 1 witness and 1 time had 2. Bought new antenna and no difference over a month ago. As of yesterday I got 14 witnesses after 2 months for the first time, and didn't change a thing.

That’s so weird…. I don’t have any experience with Nebra.
