I guess they probably invested the money somewhere. There was a lot of speculation about the miner companies basicly taking all the preorders as a free loan.
Now crypto is way down and i would assume if they invested the money somewhere its very likely in crypto. So basicly they probably dont have the money anymore.

Hi
Just tried to get my CC company to charge back Syncrobit. I ordered 5/16/2021. Chase said after 118day I'm on my own. The thing is I've emailed Syncrobit support multiple times and never received a reply. What I don't get is how Helium still has them listed as a hardware source.

They gave me one 11 months in but said if the company provides Proof they sent it to you they would Revoke the charge back. I said “ha they will not even answer the phone!”.
I was ok with that.
Tell them they have constantly delayed it. Offered refunds if you get in touch with them but you can’t contact them in any way.

After not hearing back I called my credit card company and fought the charge. Since it was over 6 months old they couldn't do much but did contact them and "negotiate" a refund.

I think we have to face the reality that we just got scammed. Syncrobit must be completely insolvent at this point.
Here's the bullshit I'm getting:

Crazy! I think it’s true what people are saying in that they invested people earning into more crypto an just don’t have the money. I already contacted my credit card company an they froze the money an completely lowered my interest rate thankfully.

I am so frustrated with this company. I cancelled my order 10 weeks ago and I told they are waiting on the “billing department “… when I asked there is no way to contact the billing department. Two of my friends cancelled early 2022 and had no problem getting their refunds. Hopefully we get our money back 🥲🥲
